I think it really just boils down to what has been stated on here several times already.  George and/or members of his staff are simply in desperation kiss-ass mode due to Art's looming blitzkrieg of the airwaves.  If George's numbers were as good as he claims (90% approval, which by the way is utter and complete bullshit.  And, if it's not God-help America because this country is totally fucked), why the hell is he bothering with this thread?  The fact that anyone from his show is even posting here is proof enough that his ratings must suck as much as he does.

I think the reason is far sinister than you have contemplated up to present.
I honestly think they don't get many calls at all these days from people that are sober and not too mentally ill to put on the air. Fuck, Bateman got on there what, four or five times in one week?
I never was able to get thru to Art as many of you. Either Bateman should be working for Howard Stern or Coast is getting practically 0 airable callers. My opinion of course. I feel like I have to fucking state that now after everything I type.
