I love it! Jorchie said the Gaiam people are gonna have meetings whether to extend ByonBleef beyond a year. It all hinges on subscriber numbers, he's about 7,000 short and he thinks they're calculating them wrong. As Seinfeld would say, "That's a shame."  ;D
I seem to recall when Noory started his podcast video show almost a year ago he wanted to reach 10,000 total subscribers to make enough to give out charitable stuff.
Last night he told a caller he was 7000 short, so that means he has only managed 3000 total subscribers in almost a year. Highly doubtfull he will triple his total in the near future at that rate.
Probably any new subscribers he gets now are offset by those cancelling...

Sounds like George is taking off early again tonight.
yep, Noory again slipped out early last night and played an old replay of part of an interview with a music expert guest in the last half hour.
So Noory could only manage 90min (minus commercial breaks) of open lines last night - the caller that claimed he was a liar and disinformation agent must have really bugged him so he had to get out of there early?

Most definitely.  Art had more than his share of hacks, quacks and hucksters over the years. But the show has morphed into something far more sinister. In addition to the quacks and hucksters,  listeners are now told C2C is where they get THE TRUTH.  The government is lying to them, "mainstream" media is lying to them, "mainstream" science is lying to them. And George is an enabler and promoter of Alex Jones.  The kind of poison that sack of human filth spews is beyond shameful.  I cannot believe anyone with even a shred of conscience would associate with that cretin much less give him time on a nationwide radio show.  A little skepticism of the government is natural and healthy.  But to go on national radio and tell the audience that the Bush administration was behind 9-11 or that the Obama administration planned the Sandy Hook massacre as an excuse to take people's guns is beyond irresponsible and contemptible.

I'm going to stop now simply because the English language doesn't have words sufficient to describe what this radio show has turned into.

I think this covers it quite well.  Sinister is exactly right.  And if you don't go along with it, you're a 'hater'.

but.. but Richard C. said he is going to tape an episode with George on Beyond Belief.  Surely that will be worth at least 4000 new subscribers!

i agree with you (and playing devils advocate here)... but where do we draw the line? obviously c2c is on the wrong side of the line now days... is it simply the host allowing the lies and fear-mongering to go on, unchecked and un-cross-examined? Or should certain topics be totally untouchable baring some level of concrete tangible proof? Are there things about some of the terror events that don't make a lot of sense/I find fishy/ would like further explanations? sure... would i say on a national radio show that they were inside jobs? no... there is a large mountain of proof needed before that claim can even be entertained... I'll be honest... I have an issue with someone who peddles doom and gloom and impending collapse... and then also wants to sell you the survival gear you'll need in the post apocalyptic wasteland they have described (Wells, and Clyde Lewis come to mind). I don't mind listening to bride of the aliens (Strieber) because he's not selling me ray guns and alien anal rape testing kits...

IF i was going to hop on a conspiracy theory bandwagon... it would be that these nationally syndicated talk radio shows have a corporate agenda to dis-inform, divide, and rile up the population... to what end i'll let alex jones speculate... but you can't argue with the pattern that emerges... and then throw in some bigfoot DNA or UFO's once in a while for appearances sake...

ok i'll stop ranting haha... i just have such a weird relationship with some of these topics... loving them and hating them at the same time

You're right, there could be some truth to a few of these things.  But, as you say, without sufficient evidence it is completely irresponsible to go on the air and start accusing people of things and destabilizing public trust.  Of course, it has always been my own conspiracy theory that Coast's original purpose was to keep people too scared to act up -- replacing fear of God with fear of Aliens, the Government Cabal, and the Ghost of your Grandmother...  Now it's nothing but a marketing tool and a disaster.

Did I say 4 thousand?  I meant 4 billion.  Well, I'm not a numbers man.  I'll let someone else do the accounting.  In either case it's a lot!  I just hope those bean counters get it right this time.

$9.95 a month for this garbage.  $120 a year.  They offer a free 10 day trial, I wonder how many people kept it after that.

George is disputing their subscriber count?  How many ways are there to count subscribers - if I had to guess I'd say they are counting current paying subscribers each month, and George is counting anyone that has ever signed up for the free trial and anyone that has subscribed and later cancelled, in addition to current subscribers.  Or maybe they are counting just the people that signed up because of George's show, and he's counting everyone that has subscribed regardless of which shows they were willing to pay for.

But no way does this dope ever get to 10,000, no matter how he counts.

yeah he probably got over a hundred thousand or more who did the free trial and then cancelled before having to pay the first month.
seeing Noory on the video would scare most folks away from continuing the subscription...

Wow.. This is JUST how bad it's gotten:

Sunday July 7, 2013
Hosted by George Noory
Guest(s): John Lash
Scholar and mythologist John Lash introduced the term "Archons" to the public 12 years ago. He'll discuss the specific angels the word refers to, and the ancient historical events which may provide direction toward a solution to the woes of the human race. Hosted by George Noory.

And if you think that's not enough.. on MONDAY: ROSEMARY IS BACK, BABY
Maybe she is writing another Noory book he will claim to have authored

Does anyone remember how after 9/11 happened, Art Bell banned callers and guests who claimed it was an inside job? It's funny how Noory has gotten so close with Alex Jones when you consider that.
I do. And also remember Bell saying one night years ago when he was still occasionally sitting-in, and shortly after Noory had Jones as a guest, that he wouldn't have put him on the show.

I had to check, but archons was a term used in Starcraft, 13 years ago. But it actually was an ancient Greek word that meant ruler. Unless he meant his specific definition...which is odd because every quack introduces new terms to the public any time they are trying to sell a new book or accutrons.

There was an original Star Trek series episode called 'The Return Of The Archons'.  Looking it up, it was in season 1, episode #21.

So unless this guest was working on Star Trek with Gene Roddenberry in 1967, he didn't 'introduce the term to the public'.

Yeah, this is shaping up to be another classic shit show.  At least when George makes things up, it's usually something difficult to disprove.

Juan

There's also the book "The Hypostasis of the Archons" that's part of the Nag Hammadi library dug up in 1945.  These texts date from the early Christian era.

But the Star Trek episode was the example I first thought of. This guy is the perfect guest for sNoory.

onan

Archon: the light and the dark, was also a video game first sold in the early 80's.

Yet another reason we respect and miss AB.

Next week George has a guest that invented the Zombie, Mummy, Frankenstein and Dracula characters 10 years ago.

Don't forget those submerging artists.  As if listening to Noory isn't bad enough.  Maybe Jorch will treat the audience with some selections from his last concert, "Jorch... Live  ??? in Toronto."

I feel bad for those artists.  They send in a CD with high hopes, Tommy sticks it in a closet with 7000 others, and a few years later he may play a clip at random with no regard to the talent of the artist.  By then the band has either made it or broken up and devoted themselves to their accounting jobs.

And way to go George, promoting that facet of the program by letting us know how the process works.

Typical of the current C2C PremRat operation.  Some PremRat twit comes up with some idea to "make the show even better!" and the insular little group all thinks it's just wonderful and can't wait to impose it upon the listeners.  Heck, maybe even Noory came up with this crap, it's bad enough to have his fingerprints on it.  The show is suppose to be C2C, not American Idol.  ::)

yep that Star Trek episode featured the planet where everyone was controlled by the computer Landru and the Enterprise crew learned of an earlier ship's visit and those people were called the Archons.

there have been other guests on c2c going back many years that told about the Archons, its not recent info - the c2c website description for tonight's guest probably means this guy introduced NOORY to the Archons...

karios8

Actually tonights guest is probably pronounces it "arch-in" or something worse and Jorch said, "wowee! Never heard of those before! You talked about it 12 ago? You introduced it to the world and now you can present it to my millions of listeners! Give me a sneak peek; did they come through portals? "

Forgive me because I didnt bother to quote nooron with his special brand of phonetics

Perhaps he went to the Richard C. Hoagland school of taking credit for things.

RedMichael

Noorydamus takes credit for things in the sense that several odd/negative events in the world are given his "Shumptin goin on there".

Yes!!!!!!!!  Checklist:

[ x ] Naming the first Shuttle Enterprise (may be some truth to that)
[ x ] Persuading JPL to re-image the 'Face' (ditto)
[ x ] Being the first to publish Europa's ocean under the ice (documented bollocks)
[ x ] Having the idea for the plaque on Pioneer 1 (arrogant bollocks)
[ x ] Having the idea for the Apollo 15 hammer & feather stunt (utter unadulterated bollocks)

Jambar

I can't remember who he had on the program last week (like that really matters) but it dawned on me that GN reminds me of someone who asks the same lame questions as the proverbial Bureau of Motor Vehicles employee.  No enthusiasm.  No genuine emotion.  Because if you're going to suck at something, by gum, I say you go all out.  Thank you Noron for taking a stellar program and wiping your butt with it.  Art knew how to have conversations with his guests, as do all great hosts and interviewers.  GN sounds like an HR Manager interviewing someone for a job.
