George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

Falkie2013

To Snoorge, everything is either incredible, amazing or whatever, while NOTHING is to be questioned if it reflects on the government.

I've been hearing runners whine how they were " robbed " because they couldn't finish the race.

Kids died, people have to now face life with limbs having been blown off or cut off and these selfish kids have the gall to whine about a glorified footrace ?

F*cking pathetic as is Obama saying we're going to find these people when we haven't found the " people of interest " in the Benghazi attacks after months have gone by.

I would agree that the level of discourse has dropped over the last few months.  I think there's a certain fatigue setting in among the long-term members of this forum.  We've had flame wars, trolls, new people showing up with nothing to offer but junior high school playground mentalities, and a general malaise.

I think frustration with how bad the show has become, because of the host, manifests itself in the petty attacks on George.  It is difficult to post all of his screwups and mistakes as they are too numerous, so people get off track I think.  Perhaps we should flip the reporting around to documenting when he actually gets through a segment without screwing it up??  I fear that would make for too few posts however.

Quotes by George tonight.

"I want to pass my incredible compliments to the first responders."

"When the going gets rough, Americans step up to the plate."

"This could be a guy who worked for the city of Boston, got fired or laid off, and he's ticked off."

"There's that old saying, 'There's never a secret.'"

"Everything now is looked at as a false flag."

"Next hour we'll open up the lines and talk about hate, and why people simply hate."

"Can you buy detonation devices online?  I don't know.  Never looked."

"This is murder!"

"You know, major cities across the country are stepping up security.  I don't know why they don't do this all the time."

"I do find it ironic that our major cities are all beefing up security. Is there something going on we don't know?"

It is horrible, and that does come off as a selfish attitude.  But Boston is a difficult race to qualify for, and you have to qualify well in advance.  Many people running have likely dedicated two years of their lives to preparing, putting themselves through painful and rigorous training every day, sacrificing many other aspects of their lives.  I started training for this 2013 race back in early 2011 because I needed that much lead time to qualify for it, but I've found age has severely reduced my speed so I stopped when I didn't see any progress.  Anyway, you can't blame them for feeling frustrated.

Not to mention the time they had to take off work and the airfare to get to Boston.

What did he say... "I'd rather be meeting with a diplomat than with a schoolroom full of kids in Florida."  I wish I had been listening closer to see what that was in response to.  Does he have something against kids and Florida?

A caller said Obama was meeting a diplomat at the time of the explosions.  George replied with "I'd rather be meeting with a diplomat than with a schoolroom full of kids in Florida." as a dig at Bush, who was reading My Pet Goat to kids in Florida during the 9/11 attacks.

Falkie2013

I can understand their frustration, but ... when people have died and been maimed for life because of a race that only runners and their fans give a rats ass about, its pathetic for anyone who ran in that race to whine that they didn't finish or who " trained for this event for sooooo long ".

Boo hoo.

I was a track manager in high school and admire runners for their training and their hard work,  but the attack should take precedence.

Does anyone remember who won this race or any other marathon after 5, 10, 15 years ?

Does anyone care who doesn't follow this sport ?

I am more concerned whether or not this is a precursor for bomb attacks at other crowded events with Memorial Day and 4th of July not too far off in the future.

One dweeb is saying how he doesn't care about the " why " the attack occurred.

What an idiot.

It may well be the end of these kind of events.

Which is probably what the terrorists or those responsible had in mind by setting off the bombs.

Gay

OK, this is trippy.  Alex Jones is the guest tomorrow, and he was scheduled BEFORE the attack.  Alex Jones and George are obviously part of the Illuminati disinformation machine.

A lot of them had probably planned to run in NYC before that was called off because of Hurricane Sandy.  Regardless, bitching about not finishing the race is hella weak sauce.

And we wonder why we come down so hard on George.  I cannot bear to listen tonight, because I know it is bound to be as awful as what you've listed here, Maxwell, but somehow I can laugh at it when it's just written down, so thanks for taking the time.  ???

Thanks for the clarification Gay.

Fair point, Falkie.  I will admit I haven't seen much of the coverage.

Noory is now going to open lines for the last 2 hours of the show tonight.
And he is opening a "Hate Line" for callers to talk about why people 'hate' so much.
Noory will probably use this to talk about his 'haters' on internet message boards too...

Then expect the other zillions of disgruntled listeners to swarm this board.  They'll find us and they'll want to chime in, too.

I had more but stopped when I realized I was just transcribing the show.

The hate-lines should be filled with many calls. But will they be real or fake haters? Some callers are paid actors. It might be interesting.

Is it a coincidence or ironic that George said "incredible" and "bizarre" minimum of 3 times within the past half hour?

Yikes (he just said the word "disgruntled" that I used in my recent post.)  He's coming here to increase his vocabulary.

"I dont think it was an act of terror"
-noory
Then what the hell was it? Just because it was a low tech bomb does NOT mean it cant incite terror in those standing there! People died ya ninny! And folks were injured as well.
Someone couldve dropped an M-80 behind the crowd and scared the hell out of them. That is terror george! I dont care if it was Ahab the arab or Billy Bob the southern teabagger, either way you cut it, it WAS an act of terror.
It is shit like this that drives me nuts. Ive heard many a talk show host say stupid things, but I have never witnessed one who does it on a daily basis. Every damn day, several times a show, jorch comes up with gems like this. Maybe that is why they keep him on the air.
Coast to Coast AM. The home of the biggest nincompoop to open a mic.
Christ! Ive had enough. G'nite all...

George, you don't know how to stop interjecting yourself either!!

George said other journalists don't know how to stop interjecting themselves into the story, unlike old school journalists such as himself.

That's just what I was thinking.  He does a lot of projecting his own character flaws.

Did he infer that CNN ratings are down because they aren't as professional as Coast?

Now George is talking about his gut.. there's your polished old school journalism.

What does Noory think he can add? Does he think he is better than the media reporters?
Why not try alternative programming, Noory...
Actually, I think he enjoys these shows as he can just recycle what the other (smarter) talking heads have already said.  At the beginning he reported that 10 people required amputations.  TWO sentences later he tells us that some amputations were necessary.  Almost solid proof that people just cut and paste from various news sources and hand it to their talking head who does not so much as scan it before opening his mouth.  If I were talking to a coworker and gave the detailed version (10 amputations were required) followed by the vague version (there are reports that some amputations were required) they would think I had lost my mind and could not recall what I had said 20 seconds prior.  Both George and those who copy and paste his nightly news are completely incompetent.

...Where's his passion in defense of our great country? Is he capable of it, or does his middle-of-the-road, don't-make-waves mantra continue even in the face atrocities committed against America?
Against who?  Do you not need to know who to be upset with first?  Even if you find out it was an external group (or an internal group) do you not need to separate this person from the entire group?  If it was the FLQ do you blame all Quebecers and rail against them? (FLQ being a French-Canadian terror group of decades ago.)  My apologies- but I just have never been able to feel the passion and outrage that I am supposed to.  I feel badly for the families of those who were killed and injured, but I tend to be a little more detached and analytic in my approach.

I was at work for a few hours today.  Almost jokingly I mentioned that it must be North Korea.  The really sad part was when one of the girls who likes to appear smarter than she is (not to be mean) chimes in that they have been aggressive lately.  Not only that, but they had some celebration in Korea today (she must have caught the news on the way into work.)  They have been threatening to nuke people lately etc.  I was actually in shock that somebody would not wait for a little more info on who was actually responsible before deciding that good ol Kim Jong-Un was behind it...

Roy Hinkley

Handing the gauntlet off?  WTF does that mean?

Roy Hinkley

Caller:  There was a mudslide

George:  You mean from too much rain?

No George, the mudslide from the drought.
