How many Japanese or Italian leaders managed to escape capture? I've only really heard of escaped Nazi's.

They didn't have to escape. We took them all in. The Dutch and English (victims of Bataan Death March) try to go after them sometimes, but our government and the Japanese work together to stonewall them.

Too true. This was awesome when it happened.

it is somewhat bizarre our history, movies, etc focus on the NAZI atrocities and experiments (as horrible as they of course were) but gloss over Japan's war-crimes, experiments, and atrocities to POWs, Chinese, prisoners, civilians, etc. Including use of chemical and biological weapons against civilian populations.

It's obvious when you look at how the Japanese commanders were portrayed in film...Bridge on the River Kwai, Tora, Tora, Tora, Empire of the Sun.
What is the worst portrayal of a Japanese commander on film? Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury (a Run Run Shaw HK movie I think)?

George just introduced the guest he's interviewing now as an expert on UFO's "in all their incanations (sic)."

I guess he meant incantations.

Chalk another Nooryism up for the glossary.

To paraphrase Joe Pesci in "Goodfellas:"

"Jorch, you're a mumbling, stumbling prick."
Yeah, I heard that too. I think the twit meant to say "incarnations."

Funny, last night Jorch had a pro-vaccine guy on who stated that the anti-vaccine people are basically a danger to society. Jorch must be taking alot of heat from people for having kooks like Sherri Tenpenny on his show. Then Jorch said, in a peevish voice, "I got an email from someone this morning saying you never have pro-vaccine people on your show."
Yeah, well, he'll have the pro-vaccine guys on for a few minutes during the news, but he gives the kooks like Sherri Tenpenny half the show to spout their crap.

In the news section last night Jorch mentioned Punxsutawney Phil who emerges from his temporary home on Gobbler's Knob.
As opposed to Jorch, who is a Knob Gobbler.

In the same vein. What about how the "good aliens" are the "Nordics?" The bad ones are grays or reptilians are abducting, probing, etc us but not those beautiful Nordics! And also I get a vibe from many guests who are ranting or speculating about NWO or UFO (or both!) a grudging, maybe actual jealousy, of the NAZIs. Think about it. You never hear wild speculations and stories about the other AXIS powers- but the NAZIs had spinning ball time-machines (NAZI bell), secret underground Antarctic bases, UFO (Foo Fighters), contact with Akashic record (Vrill Society and Himalyan expeditions), and such high technology (secret nukes etc) and maybe even "contact." And where are the stories of "elite" Japanese or Italian leaders setting up new reichs in South America or infiltrating "elite" banking and government institutions post-war?

That's because the Nazis all had blonde hair like Adolf Hitler, were tall like Joseph Goebbels, and slim like Hermann Goering.

During the dream guy guest Norry also, as always, butchered the common word "powerful." Several times he mangled it, in fact. Why he has such problems with such a simple, common word amazes me. And why continue to use it, if it gives him such difficulty. Consult a thesaurus, George (that is a book that will give you synonyms for powerful if you cannot think of one. Thesaurus is not a newly discovered dinosaur that cavorted with people 6,000 years ago.)

Wow, who would have guessed that it would be George Noory who finally definitively answered the question of which came first.

Now we know - eggs came first, and whatever ate them became chickens..

It also answered the question of why the Noory only crossed half the road when Tyler, truck driving in Alabama, ran over him.

I saved that one for you, J.E.

Have you seen the Ip Man series? Yip Man was a grandmaster of Wing Chun and Master of Bruce Lee. The films are semi biographical and depict the events of the Japanese invasion of Foshan in 1937 from the Chinese POV.

You're right.

But, then again, he might have meant to say "Carnation Inshtant Breakfusses."

I first read that as "carnivorted."

Tonight Jorch has a very interesting guest which means that Jorch will again be dull.

Last night, Jorch forgot to ask the lucid dream expert if you could kill a mean baby in a dream or if you could torture pets all you wanted, without getting caught.

He did remember to ask about demons in dreams, so he gets a demon brown-eye point for that one.

Thanks for clarifying that.  One thing that really sets me off is anti-Semitism.  I'm not Jewish as you can probably tell.

I'm not either.  But I have immersed myself into enough of their culture, particularly contemporary literature, dated enough of their women, and eaten enough kosher corned beef and smoked salmon -- to be an honorary Jew.

I have not yet eaten enough eggs each day to become a chicken, however.

You are so welcome! I enjoyed them all. My eldest took up Wing Chun and got me hooked on those.  :)

I'm on a roll today.

Slap some cream cheese on me and eat me.  You just might become Major Ed Damien.

If not, you may have enough eggs in your refrigerator to lay one.

I wang chunged earlier tonight, bad Chinese food.

Half-sane or insane, half-wit or full-on dullard, Jorch is endless comedy material.

My sons cannot get enough of this:

And it's worth another mention for any new members and guests.

George, you are the Mel's Hole of radio. You could not suck more if you tried less. Even Chuck Norris cringes at the thought of your suckness. Your suckitude quotient is reaching an event horizon from which the month of July itself will be sucked right off of your studio calendar and your ratings charts.

I love you. That's why I tell you these things. Someone has to.

George (on the phone):  "Glynnis, did you run the numbers on my IQ?"

Glynnis:  "Uh . . . why, yes, I did."

George:  "Can you tell me what the two numbers mean?  What do they say about me?""

Glynnis:  "Yeah, well, uh . . . I don't think you . . . see, it's . . .  "

George:  "I gotta know what you found out so I can report it on my show during the openeen."

Glynnis:  "OK . . . uh . . . well, you're smarter than a chicken, but you still need to eat 10 more eggs a day because 10 has a one in it."
