I got in the car and the guest had said something about the internet is not a breeding ground for conspiracy theories as most of the news on the net does not mention them.  I was actually thinking about this when Noory came on.  "I believe that THEY are paying attention to me.  It might be an intern or someone- but (they are monitoring me.)  That is not a conspiracy theory... It is real."

I think I verbally yelled at my radio that he just described a conspiracy theory.  There is no proof- just his theory and his belief.  Who knows?  Maybe they are monitoring him (or forcing the prisoners in Gitmo to listen to him at the least.)  However, there is no actual proof of this meaning that it fits "conspiracy theory" perfectly and is not "a fact" as he claims.

And then Dave went away and the CBC overnight took over.  How does the idiot keep a job?

Dan Haralson- I believe John B. Wells was fired from C2C, because he bashed every political party out there. And I think the CEO'S OF Clear Channel might support one of the "parties" he has bashed. I also have been wondering if George even listens to his guest, or does he just have a list of questions he asks , and every time there is a pause (on an interesting topic) he just asks another question on his list and we'll never get to hear the answer of the things we want to hear about. "Oh that could be... something irrelevant" I want to listen to C2C, but the host is making it harder and harder.

Because I get in the car and the radio is still on "his" station.  I listen to the old radio shows before Coast and the radio in the kitchen is still on "his" station when I walk in.  Often he gets between 1 and 3 minutes out of me (it generally depends on how long it takes him to say something stupid... often he makes it less than 30 seconds.)

Ask me how often I purposely tune into Jorch, and I will tell you it was once in the last year (because I read here what a train wreck the show was and wanted to see for myself.)  Even then I do not think I could take it for longer than 20 minutes.

I am a severe insomniac and they could have me most nights if they put anything worth listening to on.  When his audience has been in a steep decline and numerous people tune out the minute they hear him I cannot understand who the idiot keeps a job.  I think that the people who listen to a full show on a nightly basis are still in denial.  Many of us started that way until it becomes completely unbearable...

Took a look at his Wiki page and it said he had 2 younger sisters but offers no names of any family members. His parents are only listed as "an Egyptian-born father and his American-born wife". Odd- you'd think it would be a nice shout out to his family to at least acknowledge them by their names.

- I haven't bothered to stay up that late for the GNS live show in quite a while. But I do listen later, via various methods, which is also commercial-less, for old times sake and because he still, sometimes, has a decent guest and my daytime radio here sucks (Rush.) I figure listening this way "they" aren't really benefiting financially, since no commercials, and won't appear on any ratings systems (not sure how they determine that over AM radio except by self-identification in surveys) but if there is a decent guest I still get to listen. And listen to the suckage and get a laugh.

I do the same thing. Depending on what my day is, I listen in chunks (in the kitchen, the car etc). If it's boring, I leave it. If it's a train wreck, that has it's own fascination. I'm puzzled by the sudden appearance here of people who find the notion of listening to C2C absurd, but come here and to the C2C website to check up on what they refuse to listen to. That seems odd.

And I'm astonished to report that there was another decent guest on last night. 'Unorthodox ufologist' Norio Hayakawa was open and honest. 'I don't know' and 'We have no idea' were constant responses to Noory's simplistic questioning: a refreshing change from the fundamentalist orthodoxy we so often hear on Coast in relation to UFOs and aliens. He came as close as anyone I've heard to saying that if you put together Operation Paperclip and the tendency for there to be a lot of crashes of craft after WWII and the tendency of the military to be all over crash sites it is far more likely that the answer is 'secret' experimental US craft than those of a supposedly technologically highly advanced alien civilisation who, you would imagine, would be capable of making their way around the universe without crash landing all over the place.

Sincere condolences to George on the death of his sister.
Sincere plea to George: take a couple of days to deal with that. Please don't come on air tonight and give us a whole maudlin spiel about it.

I agree- George deserves the same consideration as anyone else. It's hard losing loved ones. I hope he takes some time off to be with family and grieve privately.

Excellent guest on Dave Schraeder's show now re UFO's.  He was an Air Force officer in the 60's when a UFO appeared at an air force base and caused the interballistic missile system to shut down on the base.  I too will refrain from criticizing George for at least a week.

It depends. If George hosts tonight, he makes a 'business as usual' statement, in which case George Noory will suck as usual and I won't feel restrained from saying so as usual. At the moment, there is nothing on the C2C website to suggest he won't be hosting. I hope for his own sake, and his family's sake, that he will have his priorities right and take time off. Broadcast a repeat programme or a Least Worst of George Noory. We'll see.....

An ego bigger than a planet. Snoory makes my skin crawl. I don't really know how he'll handle his sister's death. My sympathies to her family. May she rest in peace. But I've heard him just make a fairly cold statement and then move on, like nothing. So who knows.

No, I actually stopped listening weekdays to Snoory because I just couldn't take it anymore. I do listen to Knapp, who I just love, and Dave Schrader or any other that sounds interesting.....NOT Lisa. No, not Lisa.

But I just decided to turn the radio on for a couple of night....just to see if anything changed. Nope. Just gotten worse and the ego even more inflated. I do believe the Snoory has left our hemisphere. He's in his own world right now.

George is quite the character study.  We're all unique, but George is some sort of perfect storm.

Then there's George as Art's replacement, George as national syndicated radio show host, George with the books, the TV shows, the conventions, the singing, George drawing praise and extension after extension from PremRat - it's just all so very strange.   

I need to see how this ends.

After hearing about the passing of George's sister I thought I'd tune in to see if the he would show he has a heart by dumping the walking talking piece of shit that is Richard Gage,  but in his eyes the show must go on... and both men sound like they are beaten and battered though. Maybe the second half the guest will exercise some demons from his body because he apparently has some seeing how he is still on air going along with every little thing the guest says to make him look a little less alone.


I have long thought he owed moron number 2 A. Jones for picking up the tab on a turkey sandwich on night.
