Clearly, you should close the Politics forum - it is serving no useful purpose, whatsoever.

I tried to make a point in that forum, and it is clearly obvious it was futile.

I have no idea what you're referring to, but I'm sorry if you're finding it a displeasing experience to use that portion of the website.  Politics can wear you down.

Neither the participants, not the topics in the Politics forum, have "worn me down" - but it is unfortunate that you see it that way.

The same group of people use the politics forum to hurl insults at anyone and everyone that disagrees with them, and the second anyone gives them a dose of their own medicine they cry. It is simply, a shit box.

When I first started participating in Coastgab, it was funny and entertaining, and some of the discussions were even compelling - that isn't the case anymore.

what would you have me do? 

Well, if it were me, I would write the offenders (I am sure you know who they are - everyone does, some even hint/brag of having an inside friendship with you) and ask them to act more like adults instead of using the politic forum as their own personal shit boxes.

Then I would post a message on the Politic Forum stating that if the stupid shit continues people will be banned and the Politic Forum closed.
