Wow.  Illinois has really dug themselves into a hole.  They are going belly-up.  Expect other northern states and California have similar problems.

If they allowed Cook and St Claire counties to be independent, they state would probably be just fine.

Don't 'cha know it.  What a hellhole Chicago has become.  Damn shame.  My dad spent much of his childhood there.  One thing I regret is we never got to go back to Chicago when he was alive.  I would have loved to know where he lived and hung out.

Home is always home, but I haven't been back permanently since I graduated High School. St Claire county is actually considered more corrupt than Cook...believe it or not! Ha.

Unfortunately this ban is only for government workers and doesn't mean no more Californians will move here.   >:(
My favorite part was at the end:
"California law includes exemptions for law enforcement officers, tax auditors and training events that are required for grants. California’s tax-collecting Board of Equalization has an office in Houston."
Apparently it is not just businesses and people moving here but California state government itself.  :o

I wonder why

I wonder what/why/who would pose for a pic like that by an aisle of cheese? And who would take it? Weird. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind things like the Dairy Festival Queen or beauty contests for various local products/festivals but:
1) she's no beauty
2) and it looks amateur and done at random at the supermarket

Ah. Thanks. I didn't examine, or wish to even enlarge. Just checked the date against my receipts and, thankfully, didn't buy any Cracker Barrel or Sargento cheese products on that date.
Though it also brings up the question? Why photoshop such a thing? That is, almost more weird. But the internet.

I hope they get their asses kicked on July 1.  They have been going too far for too long.

I think the government (at the Federal, State, County, Local and even universities, the large ones often have their own police force, level) needs to really go after these terrorists. Peaceful protest, fine and legal. But rioting, burning and looting, desecrating graves, attacking people, tearing down art or monuments, destroying property, blocking traffic, attacking police, disrupting classes or public meetings, should not be acceptable.

Designate them a terrorist group and/or an organized criminal network and but at least use the statutes on the books to go after them, their money, their donors, use CPS to take their children, go after their parents (if they are minors or store/organize on their property,) and stack paper of charges on each individual caught (from misdemeanors, felonies, weapons, drugs, in addition to whatever other crimes) so that, at minimum, they will have a criminal history haunting them for the rest of their lives once they plea down. Businesses, schools, and people harmed by them should also sue the individuals civilly and the organization(s) as a whole. That way their credit is ruined, at minimum, but some assets could be taken. If any of the people are illegal, on VISAs, overstayed their VISA, are in the process of becoming legal, etc then have a quick hearing and deport them- even if their family is here. Enact new laws that make things like desecration of a grave or destruction of a public monument a felony. Use the laws already often on the books about face-covering in public and then use that to get an arrest and warrant to search their vehicle and property and discover more crimes and prosecute. Juries, and grand juries, should acquitted or no-bill people who were attacked by them and used force in return, even deadly. Nullify if the prosecutors try to prosecute those people.

Get the more violent ones get convicted and thrown in prison with hardcore criminals who will enjoy these mainly white, middle-class/rich, leftist entitled kids rioting against the "system" that gave them the time/ability/means to protest or riot. Use asset forfeiture and RICO laws to take their property or their parents' property (if they are staying at their houses, their lease is co-signed by them, they are driving daddy's car, etc.) Us the IRS and State taxing authorities to go after Foundations, charities, or religious groups that fund them and donors who give to those organizations.

It is time for normal, peaceful society to push back on Antifada, Intifada, BLM, and all the terrorist groups, foreign and domestic; even using some laws that I'm not particularly fond of (asset forfeiture, IRS, over zealous CPS, etc.)

Couldn't agree more, albrecht.  My guess is if Antifa shows up at Gettysburg while  re-enactments are taking place, they are going to taken down by said re-enactors.  I almost hope they try.

Of course I don't advocate violence, unlike some of these "progressives" and other terrorist groups, but if it has to happen it would be epic: Blue&Gray reenactors united together against the Black of Intifada/ISIS. I'm not sure re-enactors bring actual Minni balls or artillery except powder or blanks for effects... so "fix bayonets!"
(ps: I think Gettysburg is a national monument, or park, so Federal jurisdiction. So if stuff did go down and some people were killed or injured it would be Federal charges. Trump could simply pardon those involved! Instantly, without the usual 5 year period of asking or being convicted first (like Ford did of Nixon famously. And he could announce it on Twitter!)

Heh, heh, heh.

I think the sentence is too light though.

http://wtvr.com/2017/06/26/andrew-spieles-guilty-plea/
"Spieles admitted that he created all 18 fraudulent forms himself and that no one else participated in the crime.”- very organized crime like, "you did good Andy, you didn't rat, we'll take care of you." Also, the article doesn't mention where he will be sent to do the short stint. Federal conviction for prison but for that small length of time will it be served in country or a Country Club or real prison time? I would rather he get a State conviction and send to a State prison, not held in County jail or Federal Country Club. Just as an example.

I wonder if these two ANTIFA members /also BellGab members/ were involved in hard core violence during ANTIFA protests.

Hollywood actor's properties in England and Italy are deemed too dangerous, likely due to the "refugee" invasion and Muslim peaceful actions, and so he is fleeing with his family back to the USA. (Though I would question about choosing LA as refuge from crime and violent immigrants- I imagine they do protect the rich actors pretty well.)
