Why does George suck so excellently?

It all goes back to the time when Noory decided to confront his fears of clowns. Despite the horrors going on inside of his mind, Noory volunteered to help Bozo the clown inflate ballons across from Wrigley Field..for the kids of course. Noory accidentally slipped over Bozo's left shoe and landed ass first on the helium tank nozzle.
Noory was obviously hurt after being "violated" by the helium tank and could only lay helpless on the sidewalk. During the confusion, Noory's ass was instantly inflated and due to atmospheric pressures, most of the helium ended up in Noory's brain. He's been basically walking around high of whippets for the last decade.
Neither Bozo nor any children or pets were hurt in this event.

The reason why is because the ratings are good.  That's his reward, and the people who pay him and he won't change a thing if it seems to be working.

For instance no one asks why is there so much of the Grand Canyon? We accept it is a wonder, vast in its size, and amazed at its creation.


It isn't that noory sucks so much as the sucking he does is vast and has been going on for a very long time.

I stopped tuning in to "Coast to George" along while back. But the biggest problem with George is that he has his head so far up his own ass he literally can not hear. While Art would often call a guest for making a wild claim or bold statement, Noory never does because he simply doesn't listen to what his own guest are telling him. Which in turn, makes for very poor radio. Art was a great interviewer because he asked a question and then listened to the answer. George could care less what his own guest are about. He's only about promoting himself. Sad part is nobody else seems to notice (except us) or care.  F'em

No one is Art Bell. But I think it is possible to try and be more like Art Bell, to emulate what was successful and so appealing and invigorating about his program. It wasn't just his guests; it was the variety, and the genuine interest and effort Art would put in to give them a voice. He gave everyone the same level of interest and commitment as an interviewer, genuinely trying to hear and listen and ask questions and never, ever, milked it in. His questions either demonstrated he was listening and knew what the guest was talking about or were designed to help him (and therefore, the listener) understand or clarify what was unclear to him.
