This sort of thing happens all the time! I know people don't believe that but it does! Anna Nicole Smith.

I never thought I'd be in a position to defend Anna Nicole, but here goes anyway.  She actually refused to marry her old codger until she "made it" on her own, which is something I give her credit for.  I think there was something like a two-year period or longer that she kept putting him off marriage while she did the Guess Jeans stuff and Playboy, not sure of the details, but then I wasn't really paying attention to wherever I saw this. 

I also give Anna Nicole some credit for trying hard to raise her son well despite having had zero role modeling in terms of motherhood and also for at one point picking Larry Birkhead, who seems to be a truly decent human being. 

I don't think Anna Nicole was a Courtney Stodden--just a poor soul who like so many others got hooked on prescription drugs, was manipulated by those around her (most especially that sleazy lawyer guy whose name I forget), and wound up dead way too early. 

Maybe I'm going to easy on ANS, but I think Courtney's just a slut for money and fame, and her parents are her pimps, whereas I think ANS was a very sad case.

In my opinion they're all sad cases. Do I believe this girl is using Doug? Of course! Do I believe Doug's using her. Of course! Women get a much bigger pass in the court of public opinion.
During the latest Syracuse basketball game Dick Vitale made a biting joke about Boeheim, saying he was an over achiever in marriage. Boeheim  is a downright ugly guy. He dressed terribly, like he never bought a full price suit, or paid for tailoring. He's a notorious nose picker. He's whiny, and very insecure. This readily comes out in interviews and press conferences. All of a suddenly he gets married to this super hot, much younger chick. She's very personable. She actually gave an interview about how she saw him from across a room and was wowed. LOL

Anybody familiar with this guy could easily tell you this is 9 trying to pass off a story about how she was wildly attracted to a 1. Yeah, she saw the bulge...in his back pocket! Since he met her, she dresses him better, his hair is better, his glasses fit his face..she's brought him all the way up to a 2! The personality is still there, the nose picking still exists. He's in serious jeopardy of losing his fortune in a big defamation lawsuit. If that happens I seriously doubt love will conquer all.

this was meant to show that i find the whole idea of white supremacy funny. that it doesn't have to be "delivered smartly" to be funny. not the violence that has been born of those that think such a thing, but that they believe in it.

I neglected to tell you how glad I am you quoted from Anagrammy, because it lead me back to the "event."  I lurked a very very small amount during the time Anagrammy was a regular, but I was 99.9% "gone."

I had no clue what had transpired and was recently wondering what had happened to her.  Going back and reading through the exchange was interesting.

That whole "tone" of talking about MV "going through a rough time" due to N----- being gone was, IMO, condescending....  cloying....  and weird.  Somewhat suggesting poor little MV was muddled in the head due to his current situation and was not thinking/acting clearly, or not behaving how Ana thought he should or would normally behave.

He stood his ground and refused to fashion the wax. Queen Bees hate that.

Admittedly, I know very little else about Anagrammy and her postings, so it's only a snapshot opinion.  She obviously made some kind of impression on me, because I was wondering where she had flown off to and you couldn't help but think, did she pass on? Wasn't she like 77 years old? (joking)

As MV alluded to in a posting about "being hip," I believe some generational tectonic slippage was a big factor in the grand finale.

At some point, if you live long enough, you have to be willing to change "I'm so hip" to "Oh my God, my fucking hip...." both metaphorically and realistically.

Carlin came to Dallas not too long before he died and I missed the show. He was an exception.  Still hip with a bad hip.

Speaking on topic and about generational tectonic slippage, my much delayed take on the Doug Hutchinson marriage -  whose character in The Green Mile I so loved to hate - is that he could very possibly end up mysteriously dead - an opposite Queen Bee age relationship compared to the above.  He's an old bee and she will not tolerate a less than perfect wax worker.

Hmmm.... I guess what I'm really saying via Jägermeister, is that Hutchison needs to hook up with Anagrammy and get the upper hand back before he is destroyed on that Lathe of Heaven that bores relentlessly through the Hollywood Land hills.
