I got c-diff from a hospital visit three days before, though soon as I went back it was cleared up in less than 24 hrs with huge doses of opiates. Why ten days?

because he had  a 107 degree fever, when he went in, it went down to like 103 for the remainder of his stay, and they kept him a day when it returned to near normal for observation. at 1st they thought he had a burst appendix, then spent a day fiddling around trying to figure out what exactly he had.

yet people are so horrified at the notion of socialized medicine.  insurance companies have been operating death panels and generally fucking with people since the first day insurance companies existed.  i see no reason to trust their intentions more than those of the government.

Just as I saw very little reason not to take a vintage brick found in an alley behind The Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum, Dallas and deliver it through my insurance agent's office front window with a cryptic note. But instead, saw EVERY reason to do so.
