Only annoyed when we three receptionists sit in a row and he points to the one in the middle and says he will work with her because she is young and cute!  She is NOT cute.  We two older ladies are much more attractive than her.  She never smiles, hates people, is growing hedges for eyebrows, and said she doesn't believe in brushing her hair!

The other day in the middle of a client session, he joked so hard about being "on top" of the female client that his assistant said, "Now, now, not at work...". He didn't take it well, grumped like a spoilt child and then added, "This is how I have fun.". OMG.  I wish his wife would do spot checks, but she works full time too.

Spot checks on wives too are really important.  I have seen women turn into to total shrews the moment their hubby is out the door.  Then when he comes back, they just flip a charm switch.  It is sickening!  Everybody Spot Check the spouse!  Know who you really married!

Maybe you two older broads could tag team him in his office. You know, just to show him who's really in charge there.

Mr. Nosy here, if I may ask,

should you manage to land more hours at your job could you not get yourself a roomy and go in on a two bedroom apt? Is that anything you're aspiring to? Surely you don't want to stay/settle with your current living situation forever, correct?

I can appreciate your entire above post btw, some people would have buckled in all that. You're not a quitter.
With the right person, sure.  Costs would go up about $300-400/month.  I sampled that last year, but it was on the cheaper end, reflected by bad caliber of people.  There are a lot of neighbors in a small space at apts.  At least here all homes have their own parking, own yards, own refuse cans, own loitering areas, and own person in charge.

But you're right, the more I can budget, the better the place.

At apt buildings you have to really pass some time before someone will know you well enough to reciprocate favors.  Like, everyone in a house is a stakeholder in keeping the household going when an individual there has a crisis.  So people help each other.

Seniors can flag down assistance.  Like, cops drove by me when my car broke in the middle of a busy road.  But when grandma came, suddenly cops got my car to the side of the road, no problem.  And they assured her they would monitor it!  Go Grammy!  I couldn't even get a cop to pull over, let alone guard the car for a weekend!

Well thanks for the kind words.  You know, Hurricane Katrina happened during this time, and many of their pets ended up here, and many of the citizens, too.  But not together.  So, I have a lot of be grateful for.

To be sure that was mildly interesting, but what I'm really interested in is a discussion about the differences between using the TV remote and feeding the cats
Ok then your turn to vacuum!  Every week!  Year 'round!  With a stick for a handle and all the weight on the handle!

We can try.

It's a temp job.  As I wiped a table in  the break room, he walked by me saying, "Oh good, she'll get the place all cleaned up and then she'll be Gone!" So... I don't clean anymore. What a weirdo.  The thing is, it's hard to hate him because other than being creepy with the ladies, he is a pretty great guy.  His wife is great.

Commitment, a civil.... commitment, lol (only a pun, not a ceremony).  Did I say married?  Usually I just say "my honey".  No shacking up.  Still working out the "civil" part.  I have envied you!

Franchises that provide two weeks of corporate training but don't actually want you to follow most of it...  But they don't say this so you're like What?

Couch surfer men who are supposedly in dire straits but wear strong, expensive cologne.

Carpet that bunches under furniture forever.

HE washers.

People who don't rinse their plate before loading it!

Women who put ALL their makeup on and curl their hair in THE bathroom!

People who think a public profile LinkedIn connect request is an email.

People that get out of hand in near tears frustration at work, in front of customers, before they have been started going through alternate procedures (like asking for help, looking around).

People who cook and season great food for household dinners, but who then dump salt all over the whole serving platter (because they like it that way), instead of letting eaters season their own portions.

People who don't take the bus, but freak out nonetheless when their shift replacement person is five minutes late.

Senior-aged married business owners who loudly say the following to a client the following:. Did you see those strippers blah blah?  Yeah, it is just gross.  It actually makes you NOT want to see them naked!  Blah blah...

People who can't take a taste of their own medicine!

The way the You Tube widget is in the middle of the screen, where visual focus is supposed to be!  Scoot it over!

Sodium laureth sulfate.

Places that get things like breakouts of Legionnaires Disease because they allowed rooms to be built without windows for daylight, which kills germs.

Boyfriends who postpone the late life marriage and marriage bed a long time, even though he knows the girlfriend has signs of major aged related cervical, vaginal, clitoral debilitation, and the resulting inability to fully climax.  Whenever she says, we need to get a move on it, the boyfriend responds that HIS sexuality still works fine....

Most of that will settle down as the change finalizes but it is darkest before the dawn!  Men eventually go through a decline, too.  Viagra is not cheap!  What's the one for women called!!!

People who wear all dark colors, then cross 6 lanes of night time traffic!
People who literally don't look before crossing a busy street.
Employees and managers who would rather lie, hide and break promises than simply say no to an impossible request by a customer.
People who live here for years and don't take English classes.
Employees who judge their customers as stupid for paying a premium for better service.
Coworkers who would rather nitpick, split hairs or be defiant than Just Do It.
Those who do not wash after using the restroom. . . . . . . . .
Customers who sit in the waiting area without checking in at the desk.
Bossy peers.
Business landlords who limit heat and limit the pickup of refuse.
Acquaintances who disappear all because of a perfectly understandable perceived shame.
Acquaintances who don't disappear after major abuse/shame.
Having to take the time to explain levels of complexity to people who should just concede the benefit of the doubt in any case, but who are also stupid and contrary.
Housemates who don't give you the benefit of the doubt even after you have proved your character.

Dark website background with dark text.
Jealous people who ride and challenge you in a situation rather than simply admit luck went your way.
People who give instructions out of two sides of their mouth depending on their whims.
Big Agra for "refining" (meaning depleting) sugar.
Communities (neighborhoods, workplaces) for having no structure in place for reporting aggressiveness or rumours of aggressiveness in pets, serve animals, or emotional therapy animals.
Communities for not requiring emotional therapy animals to go through the same standards as service dogs.

When you are talking to someone earnestly, and asking for their input, and they respond either ineptly or sarcastically with, "I didn't even know we were on speaking terms."

Especially when you are talking to yourself. I hate it when that happens.

There’s a guy at my gym who mutters out loud. I thought he was talking to himself, encouraging himself, that kind of thing, while he lifted. Then yesterday, he was walking between the barbells and dumbbells, and he clearly said, “Where are you?” Then he said, “I’m over here.” “OK.” And he went to the dumbbells and worked with them. When I went to that area, he was having a two-sided conversation about Obama’s presidency.

Anarchy!
Which reminds me of another annoyance, when all the community light at night time has partly white bulbs/light and part yellow bulbs/light.
And people who report prowlers yet nonetheless do not believe in turning on porch lights.

Yes, that is very impolite!  A retail worker where I used to live was like that.  Nonstop running convo!
