A fuckin' Men. Nothing like old 'smith. Even if during so many albums were rehashed, greatest hits, rereleased archives.

That song and this one are their two best. I wish they'd stuck with this formula for funky rock & roll but alas the times did change on them and cocaine and stuff.  ;) 8)

These ladies bring down the house.  I have "My Pal Foot Foot" on my MP3 rotation.

Kurt Cobain considered Philosophy of the World one of the best albums of all time.

All this talk of classic rock music is making me wish that the only station in the country specialising in it hadn't been shut down for being too successful (I shit you not - they argued it was drawing away too many listeners from their flagship station). I know Americans like to lament the quality of your radio content, but it's miles better than what we get here.

#1) Have you ever been on heroin?

#2) Have you ever been to Aberdeen, WA?

Settle down, Jimmy Lipton. Breathe.

It's the kind of music I'd play to break prisoners down mentally before interrogation. I mean, if I did that kind of thing, of course.  :)

It uses the sax well, sort of like Bowie's Young Americans album.

In the Bob Welch years, Fleetwood Mac was a Psychedelic R&B band more so than a Pop act.
Never forget! Never surrender!

All of the Bob Welch era Fleetwood Mac albums are out of print on cd, lp and not available for streaming. They didn't want to pay him any more royalties after he complained that he was being cheated.

I'm a big fan of the California scene from that era and Bob Welch was a big part of that.
One of Fleetwood Mac's best eras.
Sad the way his life ended.

My favorite live version of "Heroin". This features Don Cherry.
