Speaking of echo, I hear yours now but I can't quite make out what you are saying.  It just sounds like garbage which is probably not far from the truth.  Left wing garbage.

You don't understand enough about public policy to really be for any wing.  All you do is mindlessly regurgitate meaningless slogans and phrases.

As I always ask when you bring up falsehoods like that about me: care to site an example?

And I have no doubt as always you'll either beg it off or say you were just trying to get back at me.

Comey Cited Election Timing for Not Naming Russians

October 31, 2016By Taegan Goddard24 Comments
“FBI Director James Comey argued privately that it was too close to Election Day for the United States government to name Russia as meddling in the U.S. election and ultimately ensured that the FBI’s name was not on the document that the U.S. government put out,” a former FBI official tells CNBC.

“The official said some government insiders are perplexed as to why Comey would have election timing concerns with the Russian disclosure but not with the Huma Abedin email discovery disclosure he made Friday.”

Nah, I have nothing to prove.  I sure as hell don't want to look through 111 or is it 112 pages now of blather?  Folks here know a book by its cover.  Plus, you simply aren't worth the time.

Political Journalism Needs New Rules After Trump

October 31, 2016By Taegan Goddard2 Comments
Marc Ambinder: “Here’s a tried-and-true creed, straight from Journalism 101: Journalists should never take sides. But how do you not take sides when one of those sides is so clearly wrong?”

“Another: Journalists should not characterize political candidates as liars. But what happens when political candidates base their entire campaigns on very persuasive lies?”

“Science journalists no longer cover anthropogenic climate change as an issue that’s subject to dispute. (What to do about it surely is; the fact of it is not.) Reporters on the criminal justice beat recognize, as a fact, that the system is institutionally biased against black people. Women in sports journalism take sexism as a fact.”

“But political journalists will be tempted to cover the coming fight about Obamacare as if the Republicans have put forth a serious solution to its problems. That’s not true. Republicans want to get rid of the entire program and replace it with something else they haven’t fully explained. In the context of the real world, that solution is a nothingburger. It is not real. It should be treated as not-real.”

Latest Unpaid Trump Vendor Is His Own Pollster

October 31, 2016By Taegan Goddard18 Comments
“Over the years, Donald Trump or his businesses have been accused of stiffing carpenters, dishwashers and lawyers, leaving a trail of lawsuits and grudges in his wake. Now he is in a billing dispute with one of his own campaign aides,” the New York Times reports.

“Mr. Trump’s most recent filing with the Federal Election Commission indicates that his campaign has disputed a bill for $766,756 from a vendor, the well-regarded Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio.”

This thread and the Hillary thread really have become two sides screaming "Am not!"and "Are too!" at each other.  Has anyone been convinced to change sides?

It's become increasingly boring, as the same ground gets covered over and over with the same kinds of insults issued. Next to no new voices or ideas.

It would be interesting to get a few undecided voters on here. I'd like to know how people can still be undecided at this late date. There are always undecideds late in an election who for whatever reason haven't been paying attention, but there is a group who can't claim that excuse and still intends to vote.

What's keeping them from deciding, something about this election or something about them?

You're hoping a President Trump will pardon you for your serial murders since Trump said "Sure I'd pardon a serial murderer if they donated to my campaign or said nice things about me.  Like everything else with me, my Presidency will be all about me."

New data has been introduced but it does not change the arguments.  The arguments seem to center on discounting data that doesn't fit an individual's position.  Seems like a lot of energy and passion that should have been used for something more beneficial than passing time.  Just my opinion.  I thought you'd all rather read that than look at my asshole.

Is this like "the facts" you present day in and day out?  Excuse me while I crack up. Seriously, my good man, this "fact" about me is merely an opinion and one that I believe belongs to a  rather small minority.

Maybe a rather small minority here.  But you already seem to have made it quite clear you can only handle being in an echo chamber.  If you were to post in a neutral but serious political site like Dave Liep's Atlas Forum or a Democratic dominated, but serious site, like Political Wire, I suspect most of the posters in those places would laugh at what you thought were serious/credible arguments.

I don't think that term quite explains the phenomenon. I've seen a number of focus groups comprised of undecided voters and I don't get the sense that low information is the main problem. Many seem to be getting information that they then have trouble processing.

It's also not clear to me how many undecideds there are in swing states. I would add to this group anyone who has gone back and forth on who they intend to vote for, based on how the latest events have influenced their judgment..

You know 136.  People might treat you differently if you didn't carry yourself so arrogantly  with little modicum of humility.  You don't do yourself any favors by the way you present yourself on this forum.  And you wonder why people are hostile towards you.  You're socially disabled to put it kindly.

You might have an argument but you seem to use the same 'your arrogant' claim with every person who you disagree with.

I don't think I've ever wondered why anybody here is hostile to me.  I've made it quite clear that as long as my credibility isn't attacked, people can say anything about me that they like.

The reason I care about my credibility is because, in the end, it's the only currency a person has.

Other than that, I couldn't care less what anybody thinks about me.  That is true here, just as it is true for me in my 'real life.'

Does that make me socially disabled?  Of the two of us, you seem to be the one that wants to be in an echo chamber.

Trump has nothing to do with it. If I was trying to vote for someone like me I'd just vote for Clinton. She's piled up a stack of bodies in her time.  ;)
