This is the election that might have changed the status quo, but it won't because of the will of millions of Republican primary voters and the brain drain in today's politics. The needed agent of positive change wasn't even in the race -- and I include Sanders here, who positioned himself this way (unlike wrecking-ball Trump).

Still, things are not as dire as you make them out to be. I see you being comfortably retired but still posting on a future BellGab that disaster is just around the corner.

I'm not one to forecast doomsday but we are going the way of the Roman Empire.  We need to secure our borders and stop spending ourselves into oblivion.  We have a person running for President that seems to think money grows on trees.  We need to cut programs and rebuild/modernize our military.  Seriously Bush 43 doubled the national debt if I remember correctly.  Obama has at least doubled that and the next President will do the same most likely unless measures are not taken to severely cut spending.  I know Hillary won't do that.  We have a woman running for President who thinks it is ok for Iran to eventually have nuclear weapons.  Other nations are testing our strength and taking advantage of our current weakness.  Things are dire.  Hillary has proven herself incompetent with Libya and I don't trust her.  Meanwhile, we have riots in our streets thanks to the President.  We can't afford 4 much less 8 years of Hillary.

It would be better, in a way, if you had the perspective of having witnessed 1968 firsthand (I assume you're too young). You would remrmber a country coming apart at the seams, much worse than the situation today -- and a world on the precipice of total destruction.

We survived the 1960s and we will survive (and overcome) our current problems. Believe it or not.

Maybe it will take 100 years for things to fall apart.  If we continue on the path we're on, the country will eventually collapse.  It is not sustainable.  Don't assume just because we got out of dire times before, we can get out of them again.  I believe we can but we have to act and the sooner the better.

100 years is a lot of time, stuff is happening faster than ever (Art says so) and this is a very dynamic country. So keep the faith (and pass the ammunition).

LOL.  Thing is the ride over the next 100 years could be very bumpy and it could be a long slow painful death.  I only plan on making it another 50 at most.

Hey, man! How goes it? I thought I'd see you here earlier for the main event. What did you think?
Too many projects ending at work... I know it is blasphemy, but the job has to come before BellGab.  To be honest, I have not kept up for around a week- so I cannot offer much of an opinion on what was said.  I only know that there are certain things that you just cannot do (though I hear he has now claimed it was locker room banter.)

Part of me figures he was just a rich sleaze with a uge ego a few years ago, so it is unfair to think or expect that all of his actions would be "presidential."  (Heaven ever help me if I run for office and they find my BellGab account.)  :o

At the same time- we are talking the highest office and it could show a major flaw in the candidate.  On this one, I plead ignorance.

Not that I'm looking for others to believe me, but what's so unreal about meeting undercover cop chick in the bar.
Bars have them when cops are doing their sting jobs, male and female cops are often spend time working in the bars.
I'll take a stab at this...  Because you are saying that she blew her cover and all of her hard work just to tell you she is a cop.  She could have just said "fuck off" and got the doorman... But instead she shows you the badge and blows days or weeks of undercover work.

If you want to say that she was off duty- maybe.  But she was undercover?  Nope.

Funny you said that..:P
Actually few years ago I did just that, she was undercover officer,[obviously in her civil clothes],so I didn't know that.
When I put my hand on her pussy and started to finger her feeling her panties,
[she was sitting at the bar stool wearing loose dress skirt],first she looked at me and she froze,
then she smiled, actually she produced a very sweet smile, then she got very serious expression on her face
and she stood up and said to me; "keep your fucking hands to yourself"
[there were 3 other people at the table and everybody looked at us],

I said; what's the problem?, she said; I will brake your fingers if you do that again,
I said; let me at least smell them before you do that,..she looked at me and started to lough [so did everybody else at the table]
but immediately she got serious again and said; this is not a joke,I could arrest you right here right now,
I burst laughing and said; are you a police chick,[we all had 3-4 drinks] so I was thinking that she was joking
at that point she come closer to me and showed me her badge
and said; shut up, but from her voice I could tell
that she liked me and that in a very strange way she liked that unexpected "invasion" of her pussy if you will,
that she liked that sensual primitive if you will male on female energy that I projected on her.

So you see it depends who is doing the pussy grabbing, if the girl likes the guy on some level she might react like she is insulted
but at the same time her "human female animal sexuality" will kick in and it will trigger her erotic senses and she will react to that
pussy grabbing on two levels.
One level is to protect her honor and pride, the other level is the exotic almost feeling of a erotic adventure that arouses her.

Of course if a very unattractive guy grabs a very attractive girl by her pussy she is not going to have those exotic erotic
reactions arousing her to get moist and have jello in her panties.
It all depends on mutual attraction, and for women as we know physical attraction is not as important [it is but not as much as for men]
but she might get attracted by his confidence and sense of adventure he might take her on.

Of course prior conversation with her could stimulate her to be attracted to the guy who might not be exactly her physical type
but is stimulating her senses and him grabbing unexpectedly by her pussy might be tolerated based on those factors.

So don't jump to a one sided conclusion that pussy grabbing is always unwelcomed event by the ladies :P 8)

I heard about this. Apparently he grabbed Jill Archer's pussy.

(That won't make sense to anyone outside the UK, but I couldn't resist.)

Imagine if we had video or audio tape of Obama selling drugs such as cocaine and pot to young people.  Or, video of Monica skin-snorkeling Bill under the Oval office desk?  How about a photo of Bill having cigar sex with Monica while making international leaders wait in the White House atrium?  How about a still-shot of Hillary throwing lamps against the wall in the White House because she was mad at a Secret Service agent?  The media plays the "Bad Trump" card every day but hides the wide shit stains on Democratic underwear.

Imagine if we had audio of Obama talking about sexually assaulting a married woman while he himself was newly married and his wife was pregnant.

136 or 142

Donald Trump was asked what he's going to do after he loses the election:

Trump said "I expect to go to prison for a few years for my serial sexual assaults. Like many people in jail, I plan to take up a musical instrument, the guitar. I'm going to become the greatest blues musician of all time.  I'll be so good I'll make your head spin. I'll be known as Small Hands Trump. I plan to play Oldchella for the appearance fee of $7 million. I'm broke, so I can use the money."

Imagine implying you sexually assault people, and it's okay.
Oh wait... Trump and his ilk don't have to.

WikiLeaks Reveals DNC Elevated Trump to Help Clinton

In June 2015, Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign.

According to an email from Marissa Astor, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook’s assistant, to Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, the campaign knew Trump was going to run, and pushed his legitimacy as a candidate. WikiLeaks’ release shows that it was seen as in Clinton’s best interest to run against Trump in the general election. The memo, sent to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) also reveals the DNC and Clinton campaign were strategizing on behalf of their candidate at the very beginning of the primaries. “We think our goals mirror those of the DNC,” stated the memo, attached to the email under the title “muddying the waters.”

The memo named Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Ben Carson as wanted candidates. “We need to be elevating the Pied Piper candidates so that they are leaders of the pack and tell the press to them seriously,” the memo noted.

Clinton was widely presumed to be the Democratic presidential nominee long before the primaries began. This assumption was held by the mainstream media and the Democratic Party leadership. Expecting Clinton to be the nominee, the DNC and Clinton campaign developed strategies for the general election.

In June, hacker Guccifer 2.0 released an opposition research dossier on Trump, dated December 19, 2015. Coincidentally, no other opposition research dossiers were released by Guccifer 2.0 from the DNC hacks.

It was in the best interest of Clinton, and therefore the Democratic Party, that Trump was the Republican presidential nominee. Polls indicated Sen. Rubio, Gov. Kasich, or almost any other establishment Republican would likely beat Clinton in a general election. Even Cruz, who is reviled by most Republicans, would still maintain the ability to rally the Republican Partyâ€"especially its wealthy donorsâ€"around his candidacy. Clinton and Democrats expected the FBI investigation into her private email server would serve as a major obstacle to Clinton’s candidacy, and the public’s familiarity with her scandals and flip-flopping political record put her at a disadvantage against a newcomer. Donald Trump solved these problems.

He was going to be on television? He had a plan.
He had a plan? It won.
He is DRUMPF. Like, where have y'all been for the past three decades?

Do not get me wrong here. I am hardly a sycophantic Trumpeter. Quite the opposite, in fact, some would be quite surprised. What I am, however, is a voracious student of contemporary events, and this guy is gonna bigfoot this entire carnival with every trick in the deck. Listen to me now and believe me later.

When you're a star, they let you do what you want. It's incredible.

"Sometimes, I wonder that our Constitution is not only broken, but we need a Donald Trump to show some authoritarian power in our country and bring back the rule of law because we've had eight years of a president, he's an autocrat, he just does it on his own, he ignores Congress and every single day, we're slipping into anarchy," LePage said on Maine radio station WVOM.

Sounds about right.  Seems the DNC is much smarter than the RNC.
