If you are going to quote someone and actually put it in quotation marks, you shouldn't try and to do it from memory. You should look it up. Do some research. You don't have to be lazy at everything. It took like 8 seconds to find the exact quote.

Any endorsement of Trump from Senda has to be a good thing eh? He has his finger on the pulse.

Tell us again what Trump will do to make your life even easier than it is now.

I have heard the comment as I stated it by numerous pundits.
But I am supposed to have a photographic memory for the shrill shrieking of one of many of the Democratic Party's many political harpies ?
Come on.

I just read one political commentary that precisely refers to the Democrats NOT reading the bill and once the American people read what was IN the " Affordable Care Act " they did not like what they read at all.

I am certain more columnists commented on a law that no one read, except probably staffers.

Not laziness at all.

Everyone knows what Nutcase Nancy meant and she had to explain herself over and over in numerous interviews at the time.

Hey, it's what good journalism is all about; oh Pulitzer prize winning scribe. If you're going to quote, quote correctly. But, you're still learning eh?

They should be monetised like your near 1000 videos that have dragged you from hovel to erm, hovel.

But come on, don't be coy; what are you expecting Trump to do for you if he becomes POTUS?

Weird, I just had the cops knock on my door and ask if I was "okay."

It's an idiotic thing to say because the man is the presumptive nominee according to the GOP Chairman.

Trump has not won the general election and you are foolish to presume what his policies will be this early when it comes to specific programs.

We've all seen what happened when Obama made promises that he could not deliver on.
The black community who thought he'd be their savior is now disillusioned because he's done little or nothing to help blacks, not even his own relatives living in poverty back in his Kenyan birthplace.

Take a guess what they will be in relation to your way of life; presumably you know enough about what they will be to make your 'informed' decision to support him: no?

Forget Obama. This time next year he'll be the ex POTUS. What do you think Trump will do for you? As for Kenya, you know jack shit. The USA has no obligation over Kenya. It's an ex British colony, now part of the Commonwealth. But still a British protectorate.

I think the main thing to understand about a potential President Trump is that nobody knows what to expect if he gets to the White House, least of all the man himself. Most reasonably educated people recognise that he won't be able to play the 'street brawler' unless he's actually prepared to go to war with countries to get his own way (cf. Hitler, Mussolini et al). A tricky proposition in the nuclear age. So, he's either knowingly presenting a false image to his supporters - in other words, he's a liar - or he's hopelessly ignorant of the political landscape. I don't think either situation is all that desirable. Trump reminds me of the character played by Robert Redford in 'The Candidate'. After he won a hard-fought campaign for election to the senate, he turned round to his advisor and said "what do we do now?".

Speak softly and carry a big stick, said Theodore Roosevelt. Genuinely tough guys don't go to great lengths to show you they're tough - they don't have to. Putin is another would-be tough guy, with all those absurd shirtless pictures and wars in Chechnya, so I can understand that he sees Trump as some kind of spiritual brother. I don't think a second Cuban Missile Crisis, with those two playing Kennedy and Khruschev, would turn out nearly so well, because neither would be able to back down without losing face. If there is really a sober-sided tactician underneath all the rodomontade, perhaps Trump is a sounder choice than he appears, but most people vote for him because he's an impulsive bully, and they want Trump to bully them back to greatness. You actively want someone who may push you closer to a nuclear war, it appears.

Let's dispose of the idea of Trump as some kind of self-made man. It's not really a 'loan' when it comes from your dad, is it? Is he going to call in the bailiffs if Trump fils doesn't make his payments on time? Unlikely. He may have paid it back, but I bet he did it when he could do so without tightening his belt. His success deserves respect, but he also did it in the same area as his father, no doubt utilising his contacts and experience. He's not some kind of rough pioneer who went west and made it big by the sweat of his own brow. There is a tendency to think because someone is successful in one part of life then they must be equally successful everywhere else (like Michael Jordan trying baseball) but people forget the wise saying "cobbler, stick to your last". A country isn't a business, because if you mess things up you involve a whole nation, and you just can't declare bankruptcy and start again. Americans have had it too good for too long, and don't remember what  it can be like when things go bad. Spoiled brats, in other words.

The Roman empire lasted over 1100 years before the Goths sacked Rome, so I don't think you are in a decline and fall situation yet, but it's interesting how defeatist many of you seem to be. The Roman empire fell because it over-extended itself and the people became decadent and lazy, like Falkie. You are collectively unable, or unwilling to shoulder responsibility yourselves so you want to find an imaginary tough guy to solve all your problems while you go back to sleep. It's just another branch of advertising, where people are assured their lives will change if they buy a particular brand of deodorant. This happens again and again throughout history, and I'm amazed that people never learn. Say what you like about the Brits, we'd never fall for Trump. We get fooled in other ways, but we can see that he's an empty suit. At best he will be a disappointment. I don't want to imagine what the worst could be.

your childish name calling aside, the fact is that most presidents have no "foreign policy experience" prior to taking office.  why would they?

Accusing Trump fans of being low information idiots
Constantly repeating bullshit memes they saw on shitty TV shows
Constantly screaming that he's a failed businessman
Meanwhile he's a multi-billionaire with 22,000 employees.

Well, some are; others probably just needing to hear the messiah has risen. Are they going to be disappointed.

That goes for all TV shows featuring all politicians presumably? How many are actually bullshit? The awkward ones?

Quote

He has bankrupted his companies several times. What's the standard?

Yeah, because being a billionaire makes him able to deal with the world at large, and employing 22000 people is just the same as governing 320 million.. There's no correlation that one makes the other a dead cert, but give it a go.

I completely disagree with you on that point but I agree with the rest of your statement.  We all have our biases, I suppose.  Cruz simply knew how to put together a ground campaign and Trump didn't.
Cruz has been organizing and campaigning for the WH virtually full time since 2012.  Mr. Outsider got his law degree in 1995, and in the 20 years since, has spent only one year not receiving a govt or political paycheck, and was on the Bush legal team in 2000 dealing with election issues where he learned how to game the system. The only times he did anything as a Senator was to grandstand for his WH run.  (BTW, his wife's years as a neocon policy operative in the Bush Admin were completely ignored.  This was "the beans" Trump threatened to spill.)  Cruz is the epitome of the political operator.  By comparison, Trump didn't decide to run for President until this time last year, and entered politics after a long career as one of the most successful businessmen in the US. And he still beat the bejesuss out of the most qualified and accomplished GOP primary field ever; Cruz notwithstanding.

Actually, I think he was staying in but got some calls from GOP leaders last night telling him they just shot the white horse he was hoping to ride in Cleveland.

Hello rekcuf, you old chest-popper. I'm okay, I think, though it's kind of hard to tell here in the Twilight Zone. Here, not meaning BellGab, but the U.S. of A. in 2016. Creeping insanity is becoming full-blown. Either that or the patient finally has dementia after 240 years.

Anyway, whatever. How are you?

Value Of Pie,

Greetings and salutations! I am not well. I write you this day with a heavy heart..a certain forum poster seems to think I have something against them. (I don't) I desperately want to be liked in this cruel world. *sigh* Alas, it appears that it's not ment to be.
