I've heard and read several major news sources reporting today that Trump accused Cruz Sr. of being involved with assassination of JFK.  Trump said no such thing.  He only cited the Enquirer's story showing a photo of Cruz Sr. with Oswald in New Orleans and asks why the media ignores it. He never even mentioned JFK or the assassination. I think it's odd that with the accuracy of facial recognition software, no one has just refuted the NE's assertion yet, which would end it...they just rail at the Orange AntiChrist for having the gall to mention it on Fox News.

Just re-hashing common political theories that everyone who had a decent education and had to read Plato, Tocqueville, Gibbon, Federalist Papers, etc are already familiar. Those of a more conservative bent have been saying that the political-correctness, promotion of whatever sexual fetish or deviance, the open-border, 65 immigration reform, and multiculturalism would eventually destroy the country.

The Trump-as-Hitler meme is so old. "Mexicans are the new Jews"  Is this author aware that Mexico has a large Jewish population, in comparison to many Latin countries, especially around Mexico City and that much of the criminality we see in Obama's illegals are from Honduran and Guatemalan. (Or is the author using the term "Mexican" to mean a generic, non-white Hispanic?

Did he mention any association with JFK's assassination? No. He only mentions Oswald. Is Cruz Sr. in the photos with Oswald or not?  There's no shortage of security firms with SOTA facial recognition software that would quickly determine the probability that it's Rafael Sr.

If you didn't find any value here, then you're either deadset in your beliefs or unusually brilliant and well-informed in your understanding of the political world and history. Most other readers aren't in this position and wouldn't claim to be.

It used to be that our Senators would spend time-off reading; I recall reading a biography and Sen Russell, I think it was he, and was amused by the comment of his rereading Gibbon when not in session and for relaxation. I suggest also reading "It Can't Happen Here" by Sinclair Lewis. There always has been a fear of a dictator or, worse, a democracy in America. We have expanded the vote too broadly, have insane immigration policies (or lack thereof,) eliminated the balance of powers- both between branches of the Federal government and between the Federal Government, States, and localities, promote/hire/vote/grade based on some demographic status instead of performance or acumen, and promote all kinds of deviance intended to weaken the most fundamental unit in a society; traditionally.
