Is it really?   What funds does the PRC contribute to the other 49 states and miscellaneous commonwealths, districts and protectorates?
What total dollars are collected and redistributed?
I'm curious, if you have those numbers available.

No one is going to do the research for you, but PUD's comment is correct with respect to federal income taxes paid and federal benefits received.  You can Google it.

Highlights from the FusionGPS testimony

   * 7 references to "mafia" links
   * 20 references to Putin links
   * Trump repeatedly said he and his buildings were worth less than people and agencies imagined
   * the intelligence community seems to think Trump's being blackmailed
   * the specific reason for the blackmail has to do with "Russians having cameras in all the luxury hotel rooms" **PEE TAPE
   * Steele believed a "human source from inside the Trump organization" had already gone to FBI: "a voluntary source, someone who was concerned with the same concerns we had" (pp.175-6) - that being, that the now president was/is being blackmailed by the Kremlin.
   * on page 154, on Trump "However, he and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin"
   * on page 242, Fusion believed because of their research Carter Page was compromised, and he was being offered business deals for his cooperation
   * on page 279, Simpson said someone was already killed because of the information contained in the dossier
   * on page 73, "So in the course of reading that litigation we would follow up on things that were interesting, such as a libel case against a journalist that he settled, which, in other words, he didn't prevail in his attempts to prove that he was a billionaire."
   * on pages 71-72, "One of the things we found out was that, you know, when it comes to paying taxes, Donald Trump claims to not have much stuff. At least the Trump organization. So they would make filings with various state and local authorities saying that their buildings weren't worth much."
   * on page 179, "Sometime thereafter the FBI -- I understand Chris severed his relationship with the FBI out of concern that he didn't know what was happening inside the FBI and there was a concern that the FBI was being manipulated for political ends by the Trump people and that we didn't really understand what was going on. So he stopped dealing with them." - this after a few pages of concern that the FBI was too pro-Trump
   * on page 296, "We learned that Felix Sater had some connections with these people, and it's been more recently in the media that he's helping the government of Kazakhstan to recover this money. There's been media reports that the money went into the Trump Soho or it went into the company that built the Trump Soho. I can't remember the name"
   * page 77, "We were interested in the fact that the Trump family was selling merchandise under the Trump brand in the United States that was made in sweat shops in Asia and South America -- or Latin America."
   * page 79, "Trump had made a number of trips to Russia and talked about doing a number of business deals but never did one, and that struck me as a little bit odd and calling for an explanation."
   * page 287-288, Simpson calls Sarah Huckabee Sanders a liar for the fourth time about Fusion GPS being a solely democratic tool, confirms they also investigated Obama during his campaign for senator.

You could look yourself you lazy sod... but ere you are.

https://blogs.voanews.com/all-about-america/2015/09/18/heres-how-much-each-state-contributes-to-us-economy/

Where’s all that wealth coming from? HowMuch.net found that the states with the largest economies are California (13.3 percent), Texas (9.5 percent), and New York (8.1 percent). The states with the smallest economies are Vermont (0.2 percent), Maine, Rhode Island, North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska, all of which represent about 0.3 percent of the U.S. economy.

I don't know if its significant but the most dependent near the top are mainly red states.. AL is number 4.

Just keeping you honest. GDP ranking is not equal to federal taxes paid. Weighted averages of federal spending against State GDP and state spending is not equal to federal dollars received.

This equation is not as simple as it first appears.

Should you eliminate FICA taxes since that is related to future retirement? What about Medicare taxes?

Should you eliminate Social Security and federal retirement benefits paid since those are paid to individuals no matter where they live? But don’t these payments benefit the local economy where the people live?

How do you handle payments to federal contractors?  Where the corporation is headquartered and taxed or where the work is performed?

How do you handle each state’s share of existing and future debt?  Is it per capita? Do you count all residents or only count citizens?

It really ends up being a complicated question with no clear answers.

One thing is clear. The federal government still spends more than it takes in. I can almost guarantee that in spite of California’s ranking of GDP, no California tax dollars are going to Mississippi.

He didn't have to turn up, so why should they care? They'll still be a TV station long after Miller has been sent to the history books as a sleepy eyed sycophant.

TV station. Oh, that's cute.  :D

Not a problem. They've just signed off a tax bill that will run the deficit to over a trillion dollars. If it had been a problem, they wouldn't have done it.

Yep...So it dispels the myth that it was an anti Trump investigation. You know that Chris Steele did the main work into investigating the corruption in FIFA? He provided the info that motivated the FBI into raiding the FIFA HQ and making arrests. He has credibility as a first rate spook, just because you don't like what he's uncovered doesn't make him wrong.

After 30+ years in the real estate and casino business, and dealing with Russian oligarchs, Trump is squeaky clean. He's also the only modern POTUS who doesn't want the public to see his taxes, for purely innocent reasons. Anyone who says different is fake news.

Mmmmhmmmm

You just throw out shit worse than clickbait cnn headlines.

We don’t have a taxation problem, we have a spending problem.

One thing that you cannot argue about is that the national debt is currently growing at a slower rate than it did under Obama.

Is motive enough....But I think most will settle for money laundering and obstructing justice.

Giving tax breaks to billionaires that have in the last month exercised their share option buy backs? What? They're not paying the employees more, really? Downsizing the government isn't working out so well. They haven't officials to deal with things that need dealing with. Instead the two principal advisors to Trump are Stephen Miller and Hope Hicks.. Neither have any political or state department experience. Zero. One is a big mouth who is embarrassingly supine, the other used to be PR for Ivanka's clothing firm.

I wasted nothing Barbie.. I had no say in the investigation...That decision went to Rod Rosenstein (Trump appointee). I have no proof, but I don't know what Mueller knows..and not surprisingly, neither do you.

Trump junior's meeting with Russians to get dirt on Hillary ("If it's what you say it is, I love it!"). But hey, treason is okay when Trump does it.
