One of the first acts Obama did upon leaving office was build a wall on his, well rental, property. I've been to the country from which you fled and noticed there are hedgerows, fences, and even walls- some famous. But, as I mentioned, mines and sanctions are a better way to curb illegals. And a real reform of immigration law, that takes the country and citizens first in priorities. At least a pre-65 law but, ideally, older version.

The sanctions I meant were more about domestic companies, farms, churches, schools, hospitals, and charities that help, harbor, employ, educate, etc illegals (except for short-term humanitarian reasons for transport to ICE facilities) but also support sanctions in the international arena of countries that send illegals here.

So you're saying actual, real, unemployment and underemployment during most of the Obama years was closer to the ''official'' government statistics than it was to the above?  That air travel is not safer when we have a president clearly more concerned about unvetted Moslems from countries rife with violence and terrorism entering the country than Obama was? 

That ''climate change'' isn't a fraud perpetrated by the globalists to enrich themselves and increase their power - at our expense - and that China would be a huge winner if we erect economic barriers here because of it, but they don't?  And that they don't know that and aren't therefore pushing it behind the scenes?

Finally the high tax Lib states have their chance, since the deduction for what they pay in state taxes is going to be limited to something like $10k.  One would think they'd be ecstatic about the chance to pay more, right?  To be able to further fund the non-responsive, unaccountable, wasteful, incompetent, intrusive bureaucracy they created and love.  One would be wrong.

The social justice warriors of our state legislature have apparently set aside their fight for justice over the past couple of weeks in order to brainstorm about how the Leftists who bribe them, er, fund their campaigns, can evade a portion of their federal taxes and avoid paying their fair share.

Since charitable donations remain uncapped, the California State tax return form will be changed to offer the enormously wealthy Democrat taxpayers of our state the chance to ''donate'' funds to the government, and have their taxes reduced by that same amount.  So they'll get a full deduction for ''charitable contributions'', instead of having the deduction for the amount paid in tax limited and reduced.  The state government will end up getting the same amount.

No doubt the Fake News Media outlets will play up the story - with the narritive being the greed of the Democrat politicians in California and their fatcat contributors, right? 

Let's hope the IRS challenges this sham and the Supreme Court slaps down these frauds.  Perhaps we could pay down some of the national debt with the back taxes, penalties, and interest on the phony deductions.
