I long ago gave up expecting honesty from the Fake News Media and the other ''Progressive'' toadies, which include the Kaiser Foundation.  They are not ''independent'' in that they are full throated supporters of the Left and their ''Progressive'' party of government.  They have no intention of simply putting forward honest information.  They amplify whatever supports and advances their narrative, put a deceitful spin on other information to do the same, and downplay and ignore the rest.  I don't need to read this link to know they've cherry picked the information they want to promote, presented it to their advantage, and left out the rest. 

When are you going to learn to be able to identify the people lying to you?  Here's one example:  for years now government officials and media outlets you trust have been telling you Islam is not the problem, that new Moslem immigrants are fully vetted and safe,  and we need to continue to allow them to immigrate.  Right?  What is it going to take for you to understand those are all lies and those telling you that are not to be trusted?

The Left wing Fascists have been attacking our Constitution and our country going back over 100 years, characterized by bursts of growth to their power (the events of 1913, FDR and the growth of government in the wake of the Depression, the growth of military power and US involvement abroad beginning with WWII, LBJs ''War on Poverty'' and related government expansion from the 1960s until now, in the 1970s the media found out they had the power to take down a sitting president (over far less than Obama has gotten away with), and, finally, the Obama years themselves and all the damage to our republic done by that regime.

Since Woodward and Bernstein, the media has gotten worse and worse.  It now functions as the propaganda arm of the ''Progressive'' wing of the Democratic Party - there is no longer even the pretense of journalism or accuracy.  School kids are being taught we are the worst nation in history, not the best and most successful.  The tradition of demonstrations has turned into all out riots and assault. 

With the full blown assault on Trump and on the demands by the people that got him elected, we are looking at a bloodless coup.  This Fabian Socialism - the gradual creeping change from capitalism and liberty to socialism and tyranny - that we've been undergoing all these years has turned into a full sprint.

The goal of these people has always been a one-world Left-wing fascist dictatorship, run by them.  We are very far along that path, the national resolve against them is low, and they sense it.

Speaking of the demonstrations that have now become riots and assault, the police arrested a person who *allegedly* seriously injured at least three people by beating them over the head with one of those heavy metal U shaped bike locks.  While wearing a mask, of course.  The injuries were so bad they assigned homicide detectives to the case.  Turns out he's a professor of ''philosophy'' at one of the local community colleges.  Just another tolerant nonjudgmental protector of free speech the Left is so proud of.

Ok, none of that is really even newsworthy anymore.  What is new is during his arraignment, the court was packed with ''protestors''.  One of them was found to be livestreaming the proceedings over the internet.  In other words, we have proof that the putrid America haters who put on these riots support these felons and their actions.  In the past they were always coached to claim these were peaceful demonstrations and they were upset they were being hijacked by the Black Bloc so-called ''anarchists''?  In other words, they were lying about that too, as we always knew to be the case. 

It's getting close to the time the real Americans need to start putting an end to this garbage if the police and government officials won't.

According to police, while riding the MAX train in suburban north-east Portland, Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, began “yelling various remarks that would best be characterized as hate speech toward a variety of ethnicities and religions.”

When fellow passengers attempted to intervene, Christian stabbed three of them. One man, 53-year-old Ricky John Best of Happy Valley, Oregon, died at the scene. Another, 23-year-old Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche of south-east Portland, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. A third, 21 year old Micah Fletcher, was treated for injuries that police said “are not expected to be life-threatening”.

The targets of Christian’s reported abuse included two young women who left the scene. Police believe they may have been Muslim, and that one may have been wearing a hijab. Police have appealed for these women to come forward.

After the attack, Christian reportedly fled on foot from the Hollywood transit station to a nearby medical center, but was soon apprehended by police. An amateur video published by the Oregonian appeared to show Christian taunting police before his arrest.

Early on Saturday morning, Christian was booked into Multnomah County jail and charged with two counts each of aggravated murder and intimidation in the second degree, a hate crime offence. He was also charged with attempted murder and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Multnomah County court.

Christian had been a prominent and vocal participant in recent “alt-right” rallies in Portland. At a “free speech rally” in Montavilla City Park on 29 April he was captured on video wrapped in an American flag, giving Nazi salutes. Earlier that day, police reportedly confiscated a baseball bat from him. Local reporters captured him yelling racial slurs and threatening to shoot “anyone who tries to disarm me”.

Cat Davila, who was among counter-protesters at the free speech rally, said Christian “showed up part way through the event and came striding straight toward the counter-demonstrator crowd very purposefully waving a baseball bat by his side and staring us down.”

Quite a history...

According to records, Christian has a history of violence. In 2002, wearing a ski mask, he handcuffed a North Portland shopkeeper to the counter while stealing cash and cigarettes. Following the robbery, Christian was shot in the face by a Portland police officer.

Searches indicated 2002 convictions for kidnapping in the second degree, carrying and using a dangerous weapon, and robbery in the first degree. Records also indicated that Christian had been charged, but not convicted, with offenses ranging from felon in possession of a firearm to supplying contraband

By the way, there's only so much we can do about home grown criminals, thugs, mentally ill dangerous people, etc.  But what we can do is be more diligent about letting more into this country.  We can put an end to criminals filtering in from our southern border, and Islamic terrorists from countries exporting Islamic terrorism. 

I think the idea that we have more control in one area than the other, and should be exercising that control, is part of what you don't get.
