I think you're conflating any specific tap of Trump's phones with any ongoing and so far unconcluded investigations into any Russian interference and/or connection to the underlings of Trump during and after the campaign; Thus far Flynn has fallen on his sword, but there could be others.

With the former, Trump hasn't brought any evidence although his tweets were written with absolute conviction; where is the proof? The latter is ongoing, and involves many agencies. That should be fun!

No evidence so far they've released. That isn't the same as saying there's no evidence or the investigations have been finalised. You do know that don't you?

All his fingers and toes are crossed on this one! It's coming any day now...he can feel it!  ;D

Seems the GOP haven't read that memo.

Unlike the Dems who voted to a person to enact Obamacare without one Republican voting for it, republicans are having a healthy internal dialogue about the AHCA bill. It will face further challenges from the majority party when it gets to the Senate unlike the mindless rubber stamp that Harry Reid's Senate gave Obamacare.  That's the way it's supposed to work.

I've read up on the subject of Jackson and the Indians.  I suggest you do the same.  I'm not saying Jackson didn't do some good things but he did bad things too.  The full measure of the man needs to be taken into account.  You can't just ignore the bad stuff.

Still seems like a good way to evaluate a man. And a President

I'm earmarking your post for ease of reference when enough detail is known about the whole matter for you to discuss it intelligently.  We'll see how right you are in your suspicions.  We'll also see if Trump was justified in his.

What is clear is that Obama changed the rules to facilitate the sharing of raw intelligence between multiple agencies and therefore the chances that the information would be leaked.  We also know that among others Clinton, Harry Reed and the MSM had the information and attempted to use it against Trump.  Unless there is proof positive that Trump or any person close to him has consorted with the Russians the only wrong doing will be on the part of the Obama Administration which includes the intelligence agencies.

I'm looking forward to a future discussion with you about this.

Doc. These must be your Facebook friends

You're confused, as usual. I'm from NY, not GB...and I don't Facialbook. That's the realm of soccer moms and phony, virtue signalling SJWs like you.  ;)

Oh yes indeed.  You know I've had a lot of reservations about Trump and I still do.  However, I'm giving him a chance to prove his mettle.  That is one of the reasons why I've decided not to post much about Trump for the time being.  I will defend him if I feel he is being unfairly maligned and I will criticize him if I feel it is justified.  However, right now I don't have a whole lot to say about him.  I do think this new health bill sucks but I lay that at the feet of Ryan and others in Congress.

Oh? The Republicans have spent the last eight years saying how bad the ACA is and yet they catch the car and oddly don't have a comprehensive, easily understood and inclusive answer yet. Weird. As for 'rubber stamping' the ACA took months after amendment after amendment (Rep amendments mainly) and yet Trumpcare is going through in days? That isn't rubber stamping?  ::)

This is chilling. He's suggesting rationing healthcare based on age and ability.

And he's a physician! Allegedly.

Or just don't give them water as a way to ration:

Of course every system "rations" it is just a matter of how health care (or other things) are rationed. By government decree, by income level, by market forces, by demand, triage, by medical specialization in schools, etc.

Oh there's lots of that! Some admitted/videoed, the rest documented. And that is only the stuff publically available so far. Flynn retrospectively (maybe he forgot last year to do it?) documented himself as a paid agent of the Turkish government; he was that before and after being sworn in as the NSA. The WH knew he had lied about Russian contacts in the campaign nearly three weeks before (incredibly) Pence apparently found out (Although Pence was the campaign manager) and his 'resignation' Trump said he'd fired him.

Of course that would be treated with equal benevolence by Trumpers if it had been Obama's NSA.  ::)

Yeah but didn't Trump say everyone would be covered equally and afford it?  ???

They can. Anybody, even an illegal, can walk into most all ERs (there might be a few who can still refuse but they cannot receive any Medicare funds and so a very rare case) and get treatment and they are not allowed to be turned away for not having insurance, ability to pay, even having bilked the hospital on a bill on a previous visit, not being a citizen, or whatever. Obviously this is not a very efficient, or even healthy for the patient, way to run a healthcare system but anyone who needs care can get it under current law (EMTALA, passed in 86.)

Where?! When?! You keep saying. I guess when you've thrown all credibility out the window lying on a daily basis about this bullshit is just de rigueur to you, Mr. Steele.  ::)

You have heard that Trump, Pence and various other administration officials are heavily involved in promoting the AHCA haven't you or were you out tending you trap line when that news broke.

If that's the case, somebody needs to tell them about multitasking.

How can you run ongoing routine medical need as an emergency? I know Senda does it, but it isn't what normal countries do. They have GP's, therapists, outpatient appointments and mental health professionals, and none of it is necessarily an emergency.

Even with a top of the line healthcare system, some people will always go to the emergency room no matter how minor the ailment.

I agree; and that is one of the places its abused. But having it as policy (even inadvertently) is backward and ultimately costs far more.
