Grow up, stop being a PWN for the left.

He can't.  His failure has become too big to fail. ::) ;D

Hmmm, but Obama waited until he was out of office until he coined it in..Whereas Trump and his family are doing it now. Winning!

Yes, we hired a person who actually does something in this life other than make speeches, run for office, and write laws that enrich his cronies.   Trump wasn't an unknown entity - we were fully aware he develops and operates properties.

With so much of our money somehow now flowing to DC, and with the rats somehow having taken it upon themselves to concentrate so much power there, it's not a surprise that people would try to influence various officeholders.  Maybe even stay at Trump hotels.  Maybe even cut red tape and make it easier for his company to open them in their state or country.  In your simplified, two dimension world, you've decided in advance that as a businessman Trump is there to do nothing more than line his own pockets (which you don't mind when the Party of Government is in power, because at least they promise to give you a few crumbs).

What's missing from your equation is the quid pro quo.  Trump has to actually do something or agree to do something illegal or unethical for there to be an impeachable offense.  In your scenario, he has to do something he wouldn't ordinarily of done in exchange for profits at his business that he wouldn't have done otherwise.

That you simply want to believe this is so isn't really good enough.  That you can take comments and actions, leave out crucial information, and spin it a certain way, isn't evidence of anything.  That you follow the lead of the D-Rats and media and try to criminalize normal behavior isn't acceptable.  It you are aware of a Trump quid pro quo in exchange for access or policy choices, something he wouldn't otherwise have done, and that's not in the category of ordinary fundraising, let us know.  It should probably be something significant, not some bullshit nickel and dime junk.  Otherwise your bleating is on the scale of your Snopes research.

Yes, Obama waited until he left office to cash in, so that makes it ok in your book?  You're good with the $70 million book advance, and aren't a bit concerned about where that money came from - since after all the Fake News Media isn't a bit interested so it must be on the up and up.

You don't think Obama got a cut from the sell off of our uranium supply to the Russians?  The Clinton's did, because they were smart enough to set up a phony non-profit (read nontaxable) ''foundation'' to funnel their cut into, and a phony ''presidential library'' front to funnel more of it (in the form of multimillion dollar ''speeches'').  You know, uranium supplies to the very folks who became public enemy number one when it was decided how they were going to try to illegitimatize Trump.

Now that we've established Obama as corrupt, as cashing out on his position of president, you're of course very interested, right?

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on May 29, 2018, 10:14:36 AM

LOLOL..Fuck you're desperate. "Ties'.. So far there are 19 indictments of Trump's entourage, and four guilty pleas. That doesn't include whatever Cohen (Trump fixer) has coming his way.. Nor does it include any other shit that is to be revealed about that particular mob.. Remember how both Flynn and Trump said only the guilty or mafia plead the fifth? Those words will come back to bite them..  ;D

Sorry to have to remind you duffass, but this is the Trump thread..  ::)

Trump's lawyer didn't even register as a lobbyist and still took money buying favours, funny that eh?  ::)  Up to now about 2 million big ones, some of it from Russia, Qatar and UEA... Draining the swamp.  ;D

Well, I guess the difference here is Obama was caught receiving a quid pro quo, and Trump wasn't.  You still don't have a thing to show for anything Trump has done, now or in the past, but you post as if you do.  You just know it's there because you trust government and oppose the private sector.  You need to bring up Trump's associated to get any traction at all.

If you want to compare the people Obama surrounded himself with to those Trump has, we can do that too.  Some of those Trump surrounded himself with have been caught up in the desperate attempt to ''get'' Trump, things like filling out forms improperly, and ''lying'' to the FBI - unethical tactics used before on innocent people by this very same Muller person.  Obama surrounded himself with domestic terrorists, a spokesman for Hamas (a designated terrorist group), and various Alinskyites and other traitors and America-haters.  I'll take Trump's associates over this group any time.

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on May 29, 2018, 10:16:51 AM

In YOUR mind sure. But you know and I know if Trump had been a Democrat you'd be saying he was (and is) a coward, a fucking spineless little boy who played football while he had these fictitious heel spurs that made him dodge the draft five times.

Tell you what, let's cull from all government organizations - federal, state, and local - of everyone who was eligible for military service during the Viet Nam war and wasn't in the military.  What a boon that would be for the taxpayers.  And I guarantee it would be considerably more Democrats and left-wingers than not - you know, the people who've wormed themselves into government and set out to destroy us from within.

I wouldn't mind losing a handful of good people to get rid of the rest.  After that, or even before, let's do the same in media.

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on May 29, 2018, 10:26:02 AM
...Why hasn't Trump released his tax returns like he promised he would?

The reason these political hacks release their tax returns is an attempt to prove they haven't used their offices to enrich themselves.  Trump hasn't been in office, the issue seems moot, unless you are aware of a reason to believe he's a tax cheat.

Did we get the tax returns of Hilary's phony ''foundation''?  You know, the one she ran her bribe money through.  Did we get a list of donors and amounts?  No.  Why not?  Why wasn't the Fake News media at all interested? Why aren't you?  We know why.

Beyond that, did Obama release his real birth certificate?  You know, the one that would show once and for all if he were even qualified to hold the office?  No.  What about all the records every candidate routinely releases - birth certificate, school records and admission records, passport, other various records of significant events.  He wouldn't even release his calendars for his time as state senator.  His entire life was a mystery.  Of course a bit of detective work - finding out who his associates were and are - was fairly damning, it's understandable he'd hide who he is.

What, if anything, do you actually have on Trump?  He's certainly not an unknown the way Obama was, he's been a media subject for decades.

Long overdue, with sincere apologies.  Surprisingly I can only find one other of these out there, and it is purely polemical and a much stricter parody.  I try for a little more finesse:

The Orange Colossus

Not like the one athwart the harbor breeze
(Though formerly she was a copper hue) --
The one we as a people raised anew:
A nation's id which glares across the seas
And, blazing garishly, sans verdigris,
Its hopes exchanged once more for what is true,
With jaded, sullen gaze confronts the view
Ungraced by myth and time's smooth draperies.
"Don't Tread On Me!" the orange colossus cries,
While beery eagles flap in frantic flight.
With scorn effete I sigh and roll my eyes
And mull whence came this awful plebiscite:
Those neighbors I am wont to satirize --
The ones who'll stand beside me in a fight.

Is it any wonder Blago tried to sell his Senate seat?

Typical rancid Chicago corruption, top to bottom.

I'm guessing it was from an Illuminati jumble sale run by George Soros. Nice to see how we all get admonished for irresponsible speculation one minute, and then you're off like a homing rabbit when you sniff something from the other side.
