It just seems like a higher standard because Obama wasn't held to any standard. He was lifted and carried through 8 years of worthlessness. Media did the same for Hillary, and Kerry. Never asking any policy questions at all. Never challanging them. Just praise and softballs and magazine covers of the family playing catch and holding puppies. I was thinking about the way Bill Clinton was covered vs Trump.

Bill was portrayed as some ''policy wonk'', the smartest guy in the room, the one everybody gravitated towards.  And perhaps he was.  What I remember from that time was just an endless stream of scandals, denials, lies, and coverups.  It seemed like every week we were on to the next one, almost as though they were intentionally released so people would forget about the previous one.  Unfortunately, they weren't fabrications, and at their core most were serious crimes. 

The pretend media was in on in as well, whenever anyone asked about one of the prior scandals, eclipsed by the current one, they were told that was ''old news''.


On to Trump.  He is generating continuous controversy - with his attacks on people he needs support from, with his flow of consciousness tweets and contradictory statements, and with White House disarray.  Dumb, but none of it is criminal.  Instead of assisting with coverups, spin, and protection, the media has instead taken it upon themselves to re-create the Clinton era of endless criminal scandals.  That there are no crimes doesn't matter to them.

When have we not been told the Demokkkrat candidate/president was not only the smartest person in the room, but the world. This was the case for sure with Bubba, Barry, and Hillary.

Bubba was the 1st black president. The smartest president ever. The most charming man in the room. Women fantasized about him. Men wanted to be him. And the reality was he was another useless Demokkkrat who's biggest accomplishments were taking credit for welfare reform, and a balanced budget that were both shoved down his throat by Newt and the Republican congress. He also benefited from the internet coming along that created a new economic boom. His foreign policy, or lack of foreign policy, could easily be held responsible for contributing to the modern Islamic terrorism problems. The N Korea deal he had Carter sign is responsible for the current problems with N Korea. He's nothing more than a scumbag used car salesman, always was.

Then you have Hillary who's never accomplished anything. Her whole existence is riding on the coat tails of her womanizing husband. Her failed government takeover of healthcare. Blowing 2 campaigns for the presidency when she had the entire DemokkkratMedia carrying her uninspiring ass to the finish line. She couldn't even beat a total nobody, Obama.

And Barry who when he was elected to President had less experience than Ivanka Trump currently has. Yep. They've all done a wonderful job. They're all the smartest person ever. They're all sex symbols and geniuses.

And then you have the Republican candidates who are all stupid, racist, Hitler, hate women, men, brown people, are going to start a nucyoular war. Blah blah blah.

If we had a dollar for every time the left was wrong we could pay off the national debt.

He is lying or tells a very disjointed story.  So, he used to go around and beat any Trump supporter who would "talk back to him."  He would wait at people's cars if they had a Trump sticker.

Then he attended one rally and "saw the light" {Praise be to Allah.}  Then "these people came in.  I didn't know what ANTIFA was."  Really?  He used to go around looking for trouble, but didn't even know what they were.  Fine- I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Jimmy is a disillusioned Democrat who moved even further left instead of right in response to their moral implosion. However, he's not full of shit. I've consistently found him to be one of the more measured, reasonable and well spoken of political commentators on the left (H.A. Goodman too). Yes, it could just be Taliban propaganda or something but I've heard similar reports from other investigators too. Besides, how do we know the reports we've seen over the years weren't anything but propaganda given that they came from a now entirely discredited industry? Ultimately, we're there to create a stable trade zone with people who are willing to go along with the world bank scheme. Those who won't (like Assad) will be demonized and attacked militarily.

I've never heard of him before these videos were posted here, and haven't made it very far into any except this one, so maybe I haven't seen enough to offer a valid opinion, but in what I have seen he uses the same ''dog-whistle'' phrases and cliches as the Far Left, sprinkles the same talking points into his commentary, and puts out many of the same narratives.

I apologize when I was listing off the same old leftwing cliches we've been hearing since Nixon, I left out the old "we look so stupid to the rest of world because of this Republican president". Add that to they're stupid, rascist, sexist, homophobe, gonna start nucular war cliches that the brainless lemmings believe like helpless puppies every time theyre spoon fed them. Leftwingers are so endlessly brainless and full of no ideas there's clearly a genetic deficiency.

It's funny how every time we have a Demokkkrat who's president and the smartest person in history we either have no foreign policy or we get our asses handed to us, or worse, both.

You really should learn some history. Come back in a year when you have a better chance of not embarrassing yourself.

I think so. He was talking about the need to start a third party for awhile and was thinking of Bernie for that but I'm not sure where he is on that now. Still, it's just so refreshing to hear from an honest liberal not trying to Jedi mind trick you in some obvious, ham-fisted way or speak down to you; and he's a comedian so he's often pretty funny too.

White House staff is crucial, and Trump made some awful choices.  When I saw his pick for Chief of Staff, what tiny hope I had for his administration was all but snuffed out.  Rinse Preebus, Jesus Christ could there have been a worse pick?  Rinse Fucking Preebus, incompetent head of the Rino National Committee.  And he wonders why nothing was getting done and there were constant leaks and internal attempts to undermine him.
