Generally speaking, when reading the Chinese press keep in mind China does not have a free media and everything they print is what the regime wants you to hear on the issue.  The China Daily is the Party's English language paper (it's owned jointly by the Communist Party of China  and the Chinese party controlled government [State Council of Information Office]).  It is a good source for finding out what the Party wants you to hear.

That doesn't mean everything is always incorrect, or purely propaganda, but it isn't ''news'' as we understand the term in the West (then again, neither is our own Fake News media anymore).  If you want to read a different perspective, pick up the Epoch Times once in awhile.

Yes, Trump is an idiot.  We deserve better.  He should ignore the midgets in the media and in the streets, call the Establishment Republicans in for a chat and lay down the law.  He should have had legislation ready to go on Day 1, with friendly House Members ready to introduce it, then gone directly to the American people, explain the problems and solutions, and told the Congress to pass it or be ready to have primary challengers for their next election, then keep the pressure up.  That's what a serious, competent person would have done in this environment. 

But that's not who he is, it was never who he was.  If he didn't have the courage to do what's needed, he should never have run for office.  All ego, no brains, no competence.  Its time he pardoned himself and his family for any BS the midgets can trump up (so to speak) and resign.  Its obvious by now his performance isn't going to improve. 

That all said, the Democrats are putting Party above the country - the way they always have - and are more disgusting than ever (which is really saying something).  The Establishment Rino Republicans are putting themselves above the good of the country, the way they always have, and are more craven than ever.  They too should have had legislation ready to go on Day 1 - especially since they've been running on some of this since 2010.

It's not all Trump's fault, but enough of it is.  These assholes (the Rs) run on specific issues for years, when we elect them they tell us they still need the Senate, then the presidency, we give them that and they still refuse to do what they promised.  It's shocking, but by now not surprising.  Are we really reduced to hope for more medical issues in order to get the people in place that will do the will of the people?
