Good, I hope we can negotiate some kind of rapprochement with the Russians and get oil&gas deals and other business going again. It would be good for shareholders, cheaper, more stable to gas to the European markets, less reliance on Muslim regions, and help out Europe, Eastern especially, but allow their produce and goods to be sold again in the Russian Federation and whatever new pipelines. And, obvious, to any sane person, better relations are preferable to bad ones between countries with nukes.

So you're fine with contravening sanctions imposed (and upheld by America's allies) because of Putin's genocidal intentions on Ukraine and Syria? Oh wait; Flynn and co had already persuaded Putin that wasn't a problem after they were imposed. Tillerson is just going back to get another medal from Putin and catch up with the rest of his mafia.

Oooh! You're SO scary and intimidating!  ;D :P

Fuck son. You'd shit your pants if one of your ISIS mates looked at you funny. But that aside, you'd still lead from the back.

Surely, your Muslim masters will punish you for such insolence later. Probably by making you watch while they defile your wife. You're probably used to it by now though.  ;D

I was against the sanctions on SA back in the day also. Cuba was sort of became ridiculous also considering our friends and allies wouldn't keep them. I think business and trade, of a good type, is better in the long run than wars, proxy, real, or cold. Particularly between nuclear powers.

Crimea was Russian, the people voted (even the Cassock minority) (interestingly how the UN and us don't accept those people voting but let Scotland vote etc,) so let them have it. Let the Ukrainians, and who ever else, move out to the Ukraine proper with some kind of payment. End the conflict in Ukraine conflict with a treaty. Once the region is stable and starts to prosper, maybe, our puppets and Russian puppets, remember "FUCK THE EU" by our diplomats, will go away and they might get elect honest, local politicians? Who knows? Some people are used to corruption and desire strong-man leaders. Who am I to say what type of political system they have or must 'nation-build.' maybe we could use the Muslim threat (and to an extent the Chinese threat) and a way to unite Western Nations, and Russia- instead of allowing it, and Russia, to divide us more. Fight the common-enemy instead.

Yes, but what does any of your geopolitical diatribe have to do with sanctions being in place against Russia; The Trump campaign getting specific Ukraine help removed from the 2016 RNC platform, just coinciding with members of Trump's campaign getting all cosy with Putin. Have you noticed how much Trump's lackeys seem very enamoured with all things Russian? Funny that.

And Tillerson bypasses NATO ministers because after all, why would the American Sec of State possibly have any business speaking to representatives of the rest of NATO, when he's got far more in common with a murderous asshole in Moscow?

There is more potential natural treasure there than in much of Europe but doesn't have the means and technology to access it. If we can get the oil&gas deals, mining, etc going again and have peaceful relations with a large nuclear power it is a win for share-holders, consumers, and all of our countries; even dying European ones overloaded with bureaucracy, dwindling population, and invasion of Muslim hordes. Putin won't be around forever (though likely some "strong-man" and more-or-less corrupt leader might be.) But it not like we don't do deals with bad people- hell your country practically invented the practice- or having "taken out enemies" before. Sure we do it for the good reasons but, some might argue there at least in history. And some countries/people like that kind of thing. Leave and let live, a bit, to a point. After all "who are we to judge," "cultural differences," and the like, as the Left is always saying.

Farage? Failed MP. Coward after brexit. Liar before and during it. Visits Assange (Putin stooge) but 'can't remember' why. Maybe he needs to scurry back to the WH to tell his fuck buddy?
