Long run, long term investments are concepts that don't jive with the mercurial, six times bankrupted Donald Trump. Go right ahead and gamble with your money. But mine is in a safer place--under my mattress..shhhh

By every measure (GNP, poverty rate, food stamps, real income, purchasing power, home ownership etc.) the economy worsened under Obama and stayed that way.  The average wage for new jobs created is well below the pre-Obama average wage and the middle class has shrunk significantly.   Due to an Obama edict a record number of people still in their productive years have been discounted in labor statistics because they no longer are seeking employment. Estimates vary but the real unemployment rate is much higher than currently advertised.

Perhaps you can tell us what the Democrats included in their 2016 platform that would improve the economy.  The fact is there was little or nothing because to do so would underscore the glaring failures of Obama.  Why would there be a need to fix an economy that Obama tells us is recovering albeit very, very slowly.  Trump has already proven that Hilliary's "steady as she goes" approach to the economy was a prescription for continued economic stagnation and hardship especially for low income workers.

You can stick your money wherever you take a notion to (and some of us might recommend a certain spot where the sun don't shine) but spare us your jaundiced opinion about Trump until you are able to comprehend and acknowledge the mess he inherited.  Until then your opinion is of little value to anyone including yourself.  The below article might help to lift the scales from your eyes.

He didn't inherit 'a mess' that isn't being experienced elsewhere in the world. And to imply that Trump will dig the USA out of ths 'mess' is laughable. Already the fiscal proposals would make millionaires much wealthier and older and poorer people much poorer. Just because Trump says something doesn't make it true; I fact its fair to assume that almost anything he says is false or simply him rambling on a stream of googoo bollox that just comes into his head at that moment.

Heretic. America is his property, didn't you know that? In fact, until 20th January 2017, the USA had achieved nothing of any significance, ever. Okay, so NASA put a man on the Moon, but Trump would have made sure that they'd have got there faster, with more astronauts, visit more places, with a prettier LM, and Ivanka designed spacesuits. Oh, and he'd have sent beautiful, wonderful manned missions to the other planets in his first year in office.

Tirol, Constantinople, various (too many to mention) Balkan incidents, and forget about Asian stuff. Stuff happens. Sell outs. Politics. Agreements broken. And blood feuds and recriminations based on that is usually not good, long term. Andy ok in my book. Aside from a few, mainly up north-east tribes, that stabilzed by killing each other but the  a
quickly aligning with/ playing against European antagonists, we get this woo-woo version. Read up on the Plains etc Indians or the ones here by the Gulf. Some tortures and raping that even Obama's rebels in ISIS or coming over the border Cartels would admire.
Ps: I dont know Choctaw so won't say any bad on them. But if they were a civilization I would imagine they did bad stuff sometimes.

No, they were a civilized tribe along with the Cherokees and both of those tribes were the ones Jackson betrayed.

Christ! You sound like a friend of mine who when I informed him of the demographics of Islam in the world he tried to justify it by jumping to find the moral equivalence right away and said, Well, at one time we were pretty brutal to them and still are. Maybe it's their turn now. Then I said that if he truly believed that he'd head over to Syria and volunteer himself as a prisoner but for some strange reason he wasn't going for it. I mean, really?! How far back does any race have to pay for the sins of their ancestors? Shouldn't we all just start dealing with the here and now? Jackson was a good man for opposing the foreign influence of big money abroad and at home the tendency of government to consolidate and centralize all power.  ;)

I've read up on the subject of Jackson and the Indians.  I suggest you do the same.  I'm not saying Jackson didn't do some good things but he did bad things too.  The full measure of the man needs to be taken into account.  You can't just ignore the bad stuff.

There's a simple answer for that, Obama/DNCs only new idea in 50 years...Obamacare. Every business large and small, every worker rich and poor was affected by it. Either by cutting jobs, losing doctors, losing insurance, or dealing with a 300-500% increase in premiums. This is what happens when you have the government stick its nose where it doesn't belong. And now the power addicted establishment in Congress is doubling down on this turd.

She has not denied being a Dyke. If not her, what other female posting here has demonstrated that she is unhinged enough to steal someone's identity and make, or have someone else make, an obscene call that my wife was the first to hear?   Feel free to opine.  If someone else did it and is letting her appear to be the only one who is fucked up enough to do something like that, it's further ttestimony to their craven cowardice.

You of course in your omniscience know with metaphysical certainty that everything you have asserted   about Trump is the gospel truth.  I'll give Meister the same break that you and the others posting here  who divine the truth by examining the viscera of sacrificed sheep give Trump.

I am an American first and you don't have to have Indian blood to recognize that Jackson's treatment of the Indians was disgraceful.  This along with slavery were stains on America.  Of course, this all happened a long time ago but we should never forget these sins and never repeat them.

Unless they don't and are never mentioned again. Speaking of which, has anyone heard if Pence has started his investigation of the millions of illegal votes that was announced a month and a half ago? If he hasn't, he really should get off his duff and get cracking. Tick Tock, Mike.

The Committee said there is no evidence of Obama having ordered the surveillance of Trump.   Would you expect Obama to leave a trail of breadcrumbs leading back to him.  It is certain that someone  conducted surveillance on Trump and his staff or have democrats and the MSM been lying to us.  I have heard several commentators say with seeming confidence that Brit intelligence was used as a cut out.  It would not be a violation of the constitution if the Brits did the surveilling and turned the results over to our spooks.  The leaking, however, is a crime and heads should roll.

The Committee has also stated that there is no evidence that Trump or anyone on his campaign staff colluded with the Russians but I have heard no acknowledgement of that finding from you or other members of your leftist Greek Chorus on this thread.  Just more sour grapes, sarcasm and wishful thinking.

I think you're conflating any specific tap of Trump's phones with any ongoing and so far unconcluded investigations into any Russian interference and/or connection to the underlings of Trump during and after the campaign; Thus far Flynn has fallen on his sword, but there could be others.

With the former, Trump hasn't brought any evidence although his tweets were written with absolute conviction; where is the proof? The latter is ongoing, and involves many agencies. That should be fun!
