I think it's safe to bet on that, but given that all the DNC can currently figure out to do to ideologically counter the movement of Trump is to attack white men, I'd say they are soundly off in the weeds and will be for long while. The Democrats have lost the unions.

I remember when we had a black president, and everything he did - when they could get him to do anything other than golf, host parties, and go fundraising - was deemed to be ''historic''.  He turned out to be just another hack politician, a little more destructive than the others, but still afraid to be upfront about who he is and what he really believes.

Now we have an actual non-politician as president.  That seems awfully historic as well.  Somehow the Democrat Fake News Media hasn't said much about it.  When does the Nobel Committee meet, anyway?

Do you just sit around fretting and fuming about that stuff all day? It's really hard for those of us who spend our waking hours dreaming of an excessively regulated, wealth redistributing, gender and restroom optional socialist utopia, where dissent is personally throttled at birth by George Soros, to exercise our right to do so when your continual micro-aggressions chip away at our self-esteem and invade our personal safe spaces.

There were many complaints that he accomplished next to nothing at a time in which he should have been very aggressive, having one of the houses on his side.

I'm not sure that I know what's going on.  Yes, he's building the wall (which would be useless effort if we just enforced the laws that forbid hiring them.  He'll deport the illegals who break the law - Obama has done this more than any other president has.  Is he going to also deport the rest of the illegals? 

If he penalized businesses that hired them, there would be no need for the wall.  It would be wasted effort.  THey'd go home on their own (which we've witnessed).  So, going through all that effort in building a wall makes me think he's serving his corporate masters by allowing the current illegals to stay.

Check again. Pelosi was speaker of the house. Reid was in charge of the Senate. He had both houses until the Tea Party helped the GOP gain control of the house in 2010 and the senate in 2014.

I don't think McCain is a hero.  What did he do that was heroic?  Serve time in a POW camp?

That wasn't by his choice.  Certainly appreciation for what happened to him is due as someone fighting for America even in a terrible war we should have never been in, but "hero", no.  Hero gets thrown around way too much and I believe people like to romanticize McCain and his service.

McCain's service and time spent as a POW is unimpeachable. His career in the senate and his presidential campaign have been a disgrace. He has helped turn a solid red state into a blue state. I will be glad when he retires.

You just bend with the wind don't you? 'Smart'? Its cowardice. Trump is a coward. There have been perhaps millions of soldiers, sailors and airmen who threw up and felt terror at going into a war or battle the politicians orchestrated. But they went anyway, because they didn't want to let their mates down. Trump dodged because he doesn't know what the concept of friends and backbone mean. He was and is a coward.
