In the voting booth marking Trump.  ;)

Yep, that was it.  ::)

Good luck with your caliphate, pud!  :D

"Not that there is anything wrong with it" but I found interesting, considering all the rumors over the years, how the first place Obama, now an ex-President, visits after leaving office is some homosexual couple in Palm Springs- one of whom Obama had made an ambassador (ambassadorships are well-known gifts to 'close friends' or contributors.) And then Michelle promptly leaves to go to Branson's private island to get out of the rainy conditions. Some later copy amended the story to say that Obama left also but even then unclear if on same plane.

Something is going on there. We know that much.  ;)

I fully expect DT to break with that long, unbroken corrupt tradition of appointing ambassadors, and base his choices entirely on merit and with no regard to friendship or campaign contributions.

What a concept!  Wouldn't it be great if appointees actually knew something about the country and were able to point it out on a world map.

I'm not encouraging it but it would be funny if Trump pulled some jokes:
like appointing a Jewish, transgendered, homosexual female to the Saudi post.
A ROC born but naturalized US citizen to the PRC post.
An Boston Irish-descended to the UK post.
A radical Dearborn raised Muslim to Tel-Aviv (and then possible Jerusalem) post.
A Serbian American from Chicago to the Albanian post.
and so on.....

As well as speak the language with at least some proficiency. I'm sure other countries do the same thing, but we should be setting a higher standard in that regard, and I blame every POTUS in recently memory for not doing so.

Maybe in secret they could be fluent, or basic understanding, but your suggestion would undermine a fundamental keystone of Anglo-American society. That all must understand us and if they don't simply speaking LOUDER and SLOWER will make them do so!

Tomorrow is going to be quite a day.

Trump to sign executive orders enabling construction of proposed border wall and targeting sanctuary cities

Dude's like a Marine. He's gonna get more done in a hundred days than most presidents do in 4 years.  :D

That's always worked for me when traveling abroad, even though the natives don't always appear to appreciate the effort. There's just no pleasing some people.

Under budget, ahead of schedule. Should be the mantra for USGOV 2.0

Do you ever remember seeing so much happening in the first few days of an administration before? I mean, it could be that I'm just paying attention more now but I don't think that's entirely it. This is different, right?

It's weird, right? And here I was expecting a trip to Hawaii, a few rounds of golf and a least one White House concert, not, you know, work.

I remember a flurry with Reagan, and a bunch of firings with Clinton, but this is Yuge!

So much for all the naysayers that claimed Trump wouldn't follow through on his campaign promises.

GravitySucks

I think you will see the Democrats starting to delay the rest of his cabinet nominations. It is all the leverage they have right now.

I hope so. It will cost them Senate seats in 2018.

It's different as far as my lifetime. I'm 41 and have been politically engaged since I was a teen before I was eligible to vote. Personally, I find it extraordinary and refreshing. Trump is delivering so far.
