Well, since it's against the law to discriminate against women in the workplace - for pay, hiring, promotions, etc - why aren't there lawsuits being filed all over?  Where are all the articles about specific situations the pretend journalists in the Fake Media have uncovered? 

If you personally know of a company that demonstrably pays women less than men for doing the same job - taking into account experience, credentials, performance, etc - you should help the person you know in that situation find a good lawyer.


When the Democrat Media outlets continuously put out this divisive BS, and don't include the information I linked so people can at least have it and decide for themselves, then it's just more Fake News put out to advance an agenda.  The agenda being America sucks, only the ''Progressives'' are for equality, Hilary should be elected because she's a woman, etc.

Maybe I did get a lawyer and maybe they settled.  I've seen many cases of discrimination.  I've had managers, after retirement, admitting such things to me.  I am not sue happy.  Frankly, most people don't know the salaries of other workers, for this very reason.  It's a pity to see people slaving away for a pittance, knowing their management doesn't give a hoot about them.

If you want to be technical, the Declaration is not a framework for our government.  It is a declaration of freedom from Great Britain since they failed to bestow the rights of Englishmen on American colonials.  Thus we had to break away to secure those rights. The Constitution is the framework for our government.  However, the government doesn't give us our rights. We are born with them.  They are bestowed by the Creator. At least that is how our Founding Fathers saw it. Of course you probably don't believe in that God nonsense.

It is no surprise that some people not only don't know history but also legal philosophy and the different between "positive law" (idea that Obama champions and that various Royalty believed in, which are "given" to subjects by the King, Legislators, Courts, etc) or "natural law" (idea our Founding Fathers believed in, which derive from God, nature, or reason.) This confusion was foreseen by our Founders and was debated when making the "Bill of Rights" which just enumerated rights we naturally have, not "giving" them.

On Saturday morning I was informed by COMCAST that the problem with my tv reception and internet that we had been trying to fix since Friday was a hardware problem and that it would require a visit from a technician who wouldn't be available until Monday morning.  With two playoff games scheduled for Sunday, it was time to take decisive action.  When my wife got home from shopping around noon, I suavely announced that I was going to whisk her away to an exotic seaside resort for a weekend of D&D (drinking and debauchery, a submariner's term). After blanching noticeably she quietly acquiesced so here we are at the Best Western Resort in Fort Meyers Beach until Monday morning after the free breakfast. (Hey, it's the best I could on short notice from a cold start.)  FM Beach is about 35 miles from our home as the crow flies.  Below is a photo of our new  friend Coco and the view from our room.  Also included is an image of FM Beach for reference.  It's very nice to be here with all the other tourists among whom are a goodly number of wonder-struck Brits who are lovely people but very hard to understand.  Yes, I do understand that this post has nothing to with Donald Trump or any other topic of discussion herein.

P.S.  Coco hangs upside down like that for hours at a time.   He's something of a local phenomenon.
