13, 14, 15, though as mentioned previously, I have problems the original ones, and others, not based on the racial etc aspect but on the legal, or philosophical ones. Our government, any government, doesn't _give_ us our rights.

Albrecht; you are THE most disingenuous snake here (never mind naive).

" . . . to _*SECURE*_ these rights, Governments are instituted among Men . . ."
[U.S. Declaration of Independence, 1776]

Secure -- not Give. (you are the only one who doesn't know, or pretends not to know, that).

And if you think you can Secure them WITHOUT Enumerating them, spelling them out, you are beyond naive!

That's a big can of black paint you have, m'ame. It covers everyone who doesn't agree with you.  ;)

If you want to be technical, the Declaration is not a framework for our government.  It is a declaration of freedom from Great Britain since they failed to bestow the rights of Englishmen on American colonials.  Thus we had to break away to secure those rights. The Constitution is the framework for our government.  However, the government doesn't give us our rights. We are born with them.  They are bestowed by the Creator. At least that is how our Founding Fathers saw it. Of course you probably don't believe in that God nonsense.

You don't need to believe in God to believe in inalienable rights, my friend. Once you're born, you've got just as much of a right to be here as anyone else.

Your right, of course, SF.  My sarcasm wasn't aimed at you.  You approach the subject of God with an open if skeptical mind and I can respect that.  I have a lot of questions myself regarding spiritual matters. You know that.  Still, in the core of my being, I do believe. I should not have made that snarky comment.

It was all the magnanimity I could muster at the moment -- at least I made the effort, which kinda puts the lie to your charaterazation, and the question to your powers of discernment (qualifications to judge, as I said to you yesterday).

Oh, yes! Only you have the special knowledge and the brain to be able to make sense of it all. I think Manson also started this way.  :D

Sort of. But much more the picture that Trump has painted of his attitude towards them. Especially telling now, because he's saying how the (wait for it) 'media' twisted what he said; although this media just happens to be video and audio and tweets of what he did say. He's doing his ongoing "I didn't say that" when he did. Or his "I've been misquoted" when he hasn't. He's a pathological liar. He doesn't accept any responsibility for anything unless it puts him, in his perception, a good light.

Unbelievable. His tantrum about the small size of his inauguration crowd is a hoot! And barely 24 hrs into office!!  He's got so much work to do to Make America Great Again, and he wants to waste time arguing about the size of his penis supporters! How long does he think he can hold people's attention with this shit?! LOL!!!! The GOP is probably already consulting with their doctors right now to give him a proper diagnosis.

Hee Hee! You clowns just can't put the pieces together in this primary puzzle set.  ;D

Madonna says she's thought of blowing up the white house. Well, she has had a lot of experience blowing. She missed her opportunity by 20 years though. Bubba would've been happier than a pig in shit over that action but Trump's a happily married man; and, frankly, his wife makes Madonna look like a $2 crack whore.  :D

Anecdotally attributed, it is not sourced, Lenin called many of these people "useful idiots." Leftists, but not only leftists, use a divide&conqueror strategy to fragment a country etc. And also seek to undermine the "traditional" family- now some of that is ok (woman being allowed to work or go to school- things the Muslims are against) but the reasoning why the left (and, interesting, big corporations) behind was not "to help woman" but to undermine the family, get younger and younger children into a public school system to educate them "correctly," and (for corporations) cheaper labor (adding women to the workforce means more 'available labor' and therefore depresses salaries.) It also is a feedback loop because now even IF a woman (or a man) would rather stay home and raise their children they often cannot afford to do so because "just to make ends meet" means both partners must work. I'm all for woman being able to do what they wish, I am not a Muslim, but recognize the reasons behind the policy and protests.

1) I'm against private prisons or prisons competing for labor; under-cutting businesses and non-criminals
2) I'm against the confiscatory seizing of assets before a conviction and we should do away with asset forfeiture policies in tax, drugs, etc cases (except in international cases or in terrorism- then I don't mind freezing until conviction.) Local police should not be incentivized to make money by seizing assets and cash from people. And the burden of proof should be on the government to PROVE that whatever cash, assets, etc where a result of a criminal act or tax crime- not the other way around.
3) salaries should be determined by your job performance, position, the economy, the market, etc. Regardless of gender, race, etc. No affirmative action, no law demanding 'equal pay,' I even believe that a business- if they receive no government funds, contracts, or tax-breaks, should be able to discriminate and hire however they feel. It would be likely that in so doing, if they were abusing it, that they would lose marketshare or people would boycott- so their loss.
The biggest influence on massive salary decreases is not women in the work force, but foreign competition, computerization, and robots.

Corporations will pay as low a salary as they can.  If a woman has a choice of multiple low paying jobs she has no bargaining power.  Paying women less has been more often tradition than pay based on merit.  Not so long ago men in management positions thought of women as being like their wives or mothers - people fit for not much more than the manual labors of a housewife.

Even in this day we see women sleeping their way up whatever ladder is in front of them.  That's such a sick situation.

The breakthrough, in my opinion, is when men saw their daughters not wanting to marry right out of high school, not wanting to settle for low paying jobs, getting top grades in school, being smarter than their brothers.  I think most men want their daughters to succeed and not fish for or settle on the beau with the highest salary potential.

Frankly, there are some very short-sighted men in management positions.  It's often who the boss identifies with and not the best candidate for the job who gets the promotion.

Not every woman is mommy material, either.  This should be a choice.  Children should only be had when they are planned and well prepared for.

Too many agencies, not enough intelligence.
I'm reading this book, Hidden History.  It lists so many suspicious deaths of people who had gained traction in thwarting grandiose plans, mostly of such agencies.  I think as long as we are divided as a people it is more easy for some nefarious agenda to move forward.  A huge contributor to this is the media.  It was a big mistake to rid ourselves of the Fairness Doctrine.  Sure, it was difficult to implement, but it had a hope of exposing us to different points of view.  I was not especially enamored with the Kennedys, but they obviously stepped on some toes that were very sensitive.

Years back there was the idea of the curse on the presidency if elected in a year ending with zero.  I don't think that is necessarily true, but it occurred to me that if Trump has a second term, he would be hitting one of those years.  The secret services are none too fond of him.

Those bricks have rained in from all sides. Even from the likes of Alex Jones. That well known left wing activist.
The Republicans have been great users of doublespeak.  During the Bush W administration I noticed that he would say one thing but do another.  I feel sorry for W because he found out too late that Cheney really manipulated him into positions that he probably would not have been in on his own.

By trampling everyone else's rights?

By shouting down speakers on college campuses and blocking access?  By blocking streets, bridges, freeways, and now the DC subway?  By making attacking police part of their strategy?  By lighting fires and setting up barricades?  By looting stores and burning cars?  By taking over public parks and filling them with their trash and shit and urine?

First off, these aren't the actions of people who merely want ''fairness and parity''.  Second, where does respect for others, following laws meant to ensure everyone's safety and ability to carry on their lives unmolested come in?

This is a country that decides things by persuasion and the ballot.  Why is it that only these special snowflakes aren't interested in taking that approach, but always always prefer a Fascist street mob Brownshirt thug strategy?  Really, think about that, I'd like to know what the excuse for that preference is.

And why are you making excuses for these pukes?
I certainly don't agree with violence, but I also see their points.  I may philosophically agree with what they say, and like many others, I just don't partake in demonstrations.  Having values does not automatically put you in the position of approving everything done by those who share such values.  But, you must know that, and are just propagandizing the worst case scenario.

I didn't put in the effort to find a Democrat approved Fake News media outlet piece reporting on this, since I've learned it's a waste of time to try to convince people of something they don't want to be convinced of - but the following is a fairly accurate assessment of what is really behind any pay differences between men and women:

  https://fee.org/articles/good-news-elizabeth-warren-women-already-have-equal-pay/

Reporting that women are paid 80c for every dollar a man makes, without adjusting for very relevant factors, is just more Fake News, just more divisiveness from the America-haters.
Wow, Peanut Butter, it's good to see that women under 30 are doing so well.  THanks.

Yes.  The presidency is a hard job.  Things are thrown at you, right and left, including constant criticism because you can never please everyone.  Trump has to grow a thicker hide in a hurry.
