Cheers, Meister!

And I'm sure you're looking forward to the repeal of all those onerous, job killing regulations that prevent children from being gainfully employed, constructive members of society in factories that aren't obligated to pay a living wage or provide a reasonably safe work environment. Let's face it, kids today have become flabby and complacent because they have way too much time on their hands, and squander that playing games and texting every insipid thought that pops into their heads to their friends. A little hard work is just what they need.

Damn straight, and they can come and mow my lawn after they get off work while I yell at them to hurry up and get off my lawn.  This is going to be awesome.

Hey kids: my lawn has to be mowed with a reel mower, which means every week and twice if it rains a lot.  It's actually pretty easy if you keep up with it, you only have the "Leave it to Beaver" opening credits scene moments if you skip out on your duty.  Get to it now.  I'm tired of doing it myself.

They can help themselves. This is the Trump era. Your time of being spoon fed by uncle Obama is over, junior. Time to get a job!  :D

Anyway, suck a bag of dicks!  ;)

Whoa!  a whole bag? ;D

Nah, just hoping to MAGA in the way it was before the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and other mishaps got a lot of pesky, bleeding heart do-gooders all riled up about workplace safety. A good start would be to let factory supervisors carry sticks again to discourage the kids from lollygagging. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangle_Shirtwaist_Factory_fire

Wait, I was under the impression that those so called "sticks" were actually clever devices to hold their "Get back to work" signs up high where all the kids could read them clearly.

My mistake, I had no idea!  Deplorable, simply deplorable.  Let's not get back to the way it was!  Forward I say!

The tanks are Russian T72's,  the aircraft Mig25's. The Japanese don't make tanks or bombers. But you knew that.  ;D

Not yet but I'm buying Mitsubishi stock while it's still cheap.  And you need to stop being such a big Plick (sic).

I see many of them just wanting fairness and parity...  I don't find these to be divisive goals, but actually fighting against divisiveness.

By trampling everyone else's rights?

By shouting down speakers on college campuses and blocking access?  By blocking streets, bridges, freeways, and now the DC subway?  By making attacking police part of their strategy?  By lighting fires and setting up barricades?  By looting stores and burning cars?  By taking over public parks and filling them with their trash and shit and urine?

First off, these aren't the actions of people who merely want ''fairness and parity''.  Second, where does respect for others, following laws meant to ensure everyone's safety and ability to carry on their lives unmolested come in?

This is a country that decides things by persuasion and the ballot.  Why is it that only these special snowflakes aren't interested in taking that approach, but always always prefer a Fascist street mob Brownshirt thug strategy?  Really, think about that, I'd like to know what the excuse for that preference is.

And why are you making excuses for these pukes?

...  I see women still wanting the same salaries as men in business...

I didn't put in the effort to find a Democrat approved Fake News media outlet piece reporting on this, since I've learned it's a waste of time to try to convince people of something they don't want to be convinced of - but the following is a fairly accurate assessment of what is really behind any pay differences between men and women:

  https://fee.org/articles/good-news-elizabeth-warren-women-already-have-equal-pay/

Reporting that women are paid 80c for every dollar a man makes, without adjusting for very relevant factors, is just more Fake News, just more divisiveness from the America-haters.

Obama's BLM, Clinton's radical feminists, and the various green extremists, lesbians, anarchists, and communists (as well as any enterprising "youth,") Radical Muslims, don't need an excuse to riot, protest, burn and loot, etc. Remember the ultimate goal of the leftists is to destroy the country as it sees it as the last bastion of Western Culture and capitalism. Division is what they always seek.

That's why the 19th Amendment must be repealed immediately, if not sooner! There wasn't any of that radical, extremist feminist lesbian stuff until ditzy dames were given the vote against the better judgement of a lot of people, and vindicated those misgivings by letting their new found power go right to their pretty little heads. It's pretty much been all downhill from there.  ;)

Several Amendments were bad*, ignoring the fact that many of them were not, legally, enacted, but worrying over previous spilt milk, will get us nowhere. I'm not against women voting though against many people voting. The 'franchise' has been too broadly provided, and exploited, in some cases. And overly controlled by a CENTRAL authority when it was never intended to be such and unwise to allow.

*I also am of the opinion that enumerating the original ones might have been a bad idea because they have led to this idea or philosophy that "rights" etc are granted to us by the government. Obama loved this idea, as do others, on many sides but particularly the left these days when our ORIGINAL idea was we have rights and the purpose of government and law was to protect and nurture them, not grant them. What one can give, one can take away.

Which amendments were illegally enacted? I thought the Constitution was pretty clear on that and am not aware of any exceptions. I'm too lazy and medicated to look it up right now, but I'm always willing to change my mind by compelling evidence, so if you have any I will check it out.

With the exception of your magnanimous willingness to concede the vote to women, most of the Founding Fathers felt the same way about voting rights as you and the ancient Athenians, and didn't trust the unwashed, uneducated, landless masses. Hence, the Electoral College.  :)

13, 14, 15, though as mentioned previously, I have problems the original ones, and others, not based on the racial etc aspect but on the legal, or philosophical ones. Our government, any government, doesn't give us our rights.

From what I gathered after some quick Googling, is that those amendments were duly ratified by the states that constituted the U.S at the time. If that makes them illegitimate in the eyes of those who chose to secede from the Union, they should have thought of that before.

Nothing personal, and I'm all for vigorous debate because it helps keep senility from creeping too close for comfort.  :D

The 16th was not properly ratified, following is a pretty good summary:

Wasn't it the federal government's position that states couldn't leave the union, and therefore didn't?  Requiring them to be included when getting 3/4 of the states to approve amendments?

According to my fake news, liberal media sources, the 16th Amendment was duly ratified by forty-two of the forty-eight states and Congress, but if the info in that link is accurate, I can see your point. I'm not a big fan of the federal income tax, even though many of the loopholes and deductions allowed by the current code have been very good to me, and to be honest I find it hard to believe there haven't been sufficient votes in enough states to repeal it since everybody complains about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Freemasons or obvious psyops are behind that.

Absurd hyperbole and preposterous extrapolation are the tactics of demigogues and buffoons.  Those on the left who accuse Trump of such bombast and exaggeration use those very same tactics in their panicky predictions:  They continue to tell us that in Trump's first term:

(a)  all hostile members of the mainstream media will be sent to the enlarged facility at Guantanamo Bay where after being spayed or neutered they will be held without trial for the remainder of their natural lives;

(b) due to the removal of all regulations there will be a rash of disasters like the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory disaster of 1911 only worse in workplaces coast to coast, our atmosphere will be befouled to the point where all will have to wear oxygen breathing apparati 24/7 and our waterways will spontaneously ignite making pleasure boating dicey;

(c) innocent illegal aliens will be herded back over the border to Mexico in their millions along with all muslims and sundry persons of color who are unemployed;

(d) women will once again have to resort to back-alley abortions to terminate a pregnancy, will be forced to endure groping by any male who takes a notion and will be limited in their employment to childcare and cottage industries like candle dipping and putting up preserves;

(e) the LGBT(and whatever the other letters are as of this date) community will be rounded up and put into FEMA Camps where the type of plumbing they were born with will dictate which rest room they use and a third facility will not be set aside for those who were issued the wrong gear at birth and are in transition or those that haven't decided for sure and are still weighing their options;

(f) whatever the Nation's foreign policy might be will be largely academic because of the nations of the world having been reduced to remotely located and small bands of survivors roaming the earth in perpetual search of fuel for their motley assembly of vehicles cobbled together from salvaged parts.  This of course being the result of Trump having gotten sick of Putin calling the shots for him and peremptorily nuking the shit out of Russia, China, North Korea and Iran and following that up with nuclear strikes against those countries whose leaders Trump thought were unfairly critical of his actions.

All this in his first term!  Please, if any of you Trump-obsessed Snowflakes out there want to add any of your unaddressed concerns please feel free.  I'm sure there are things I have left out that are the cause of wide-scale pants wetting and flight to safe rooms and coloring books across the nation and in many parts of Europe.

I write this tongue-in-cheek in hopes that at least some of you reading it might realize how ridiculous all this has become and find it in your hearts to give the man until he has finished unpacking before breaking out the torches and pitchforks.  That would be the grown-up thing to do.

As an American, I thought it was just fine.

I don't want to be mean to the girl. The point was more that she never should have been put in that position in the first place. There is enough young talent out there. Trump didn't bother to fuss over it, look for them, care enough about his "Picks", care about how he "represents" the nation or the office (nor the anthem itself) to the world "in our name", on our behalves, as our new custodian. "She did just fine" for a high school commencement or ball game (maybe), but not fine for a presidential inauguration. Same goes for his Missouri State Chorale, his Religious leader picks and their selections, etc. You do not Make America Great by making it a Laughing Stock (is the point). [ok, sorry, I'm done :) ]
