I have the same set and had to find Charlie Chan On Broadway because there were 2 Charlie Chan's Secret DVDs in the set. One had been placed in the On Broadway case.

Hate when that happens.  I had that happen on my Marx Brothers box set.  Got 2 copies of Horse Feathers and no Cocoanuts.  Luckily I found a new copy of Cocoanuts for like 6 bucks.

Yeah, I already saw that coverage. Elaborate on what you're trying to say about it.  ;)

Did you hear the new wax figure of Trump has hair made from Yak hair? I shit you not!  :D
I had to google it.  Zeebo is going to be very disappointed (or excited?)  It appears that while his flowing, golden locks of hair are part yak, they had to resort to squirrel to get the eyebrows done.  :o

Shouldn't you be out getting all triggered somewhere, blocking roads and attacking people?

You know, to show your superiority, ''natural distaste, visceral aversion, distain and intollerance [sic], and hate'' towards the rest of us.  In the name of inclusiveness, non-judgmentalism, open-mindedness, and non-violence of course.
Obama's BLM, Clinton's radical feminists, and the various green extremists, lesbians, anarchists, and communists (as well as any enterprising "youth,") Radical Muslims, don't need an excuse to riot, protest, burn and loot, etc. Remember the ultimate goal of the leftists is to destroy the country as it sees it as the last bastion of Western Culture and capitalism. Division is what they always seek.

ps: I saw some "fake news" about a legislator in ND introducing a bill that would limit liability (criminal and civil) if a person "accidentally" hits a rioter blocking a street or highway.  ;) I'm sure it won't pass and wouldn't pass Courts but an interesting idea.

You can find a lot of the old stuff on the youtubes and torrent sites because they have become public domain (or just illegal but nobody is fighting to take them down.) The problem is the quality is often poor. I'm of two-minds about remastering- when down well, like Criterion etc, it is good but when "colorization," like the Evil Ted Turner, I hate. Also adding soundtracks or modern several level soundtracking I don't like. I'm fine with mono or stereo. I'm not sure if MGM etc remastered the Charlie Chan flix when they released those box sets?

I see many of them just wanting fairness and parity.  No one likes the thin blue line of the police, where they lie and cover up for each other and don't feel themselves accountable under the laws that you and I abide.  I see women still wanting the same salaries as men in business.  I don't find these to be divisive goals, but actually fighting against divisiveness.

They should have been protesting Obama.

Trump had a woman as a campaign manager - a first for a winning candidate.

Obama preached equal pay - except in the White House.

Anecdotally attributed, it is not sourced, Lenin called many of these people "useful idiots." Leftists, but not only leftists, use a divide&conqueror strategy to fragment a country etc. And also seek to undermine the "traditional" family- now some of that is ok (woman being allowed to work or go to school- things the Muslims are against) but the reasoning why the left (and, interesting, big corporations) behind was not "to help woman" but to undermine the family, get younger and younger children into a public school system to educate them "correctly," and (for corporations) cheaper labor (adding women to the workforce means more 'available labor' and therefore depresses salaries.) It also is a feedback loop because now even IF a woman (or a man) would rather stay home and raise their children they often cannot afford to do so because "just to make ends meet" means both partners must work. I'm all for woman being able to do what they wish, I am not a Muslim, but recognize the reasons behind the policy and protests.

1) I'm against private prisons or prisons competing for labor; under-cutting businesses and non-criminals
2) I'm against the confiscatory seizing of assets before a conviction and we should do away with asset forfeiture policies in tax, drugs, etc cases (except in international cases or in terrorism- then I don't mind freezing until conviction.) Local police should not be incentivized to make money by seizing assets and cash from people. And the burden of proof should be on the government to PROVE that whatever cash, assets, etc where a result of a criminal act or tax crime- not the other way around.
3) salaries should be determined by your job performance, position, the economy, the market, etc. Regardless of gender, race, etc. No affirmative action, no law demanding 'equal pay,' I even believe that a business- if they receive no government funds, contracts, or tax-breaks, should be able to discriminate and hire however they feel. It would be likely that in so doing, if they were abusing it, that they would lose marketshare or people would boycott- so their loss.

It is also interesting to MSNBC, NPR, CNN and leftists so admiring of the CIA and other intelligence agencies. After decades of hearings, scandal, name-calling, criticism, conspiracy theories, protests, etc.

The only thing "According to 17 US intelligence agencies..." means is that we have too many intelligence agencies.

Too many agencies, not enough intelligence.

Sort of. But much more the picture that Trump has painted of his attitude towards them. Especially telling now, because he's saying how the (wait for it) 'media' twisted what he said; although this media just happens to be video and audio and tweets of what he did say. He's doing his ongoing "I didn't say that" when he did. Or his "I've been misquoted" when he hasn't. He's a pathological liar. He doesn't accept any responsibility for anything unless it puts him, in his perception, a good light.

For sure, though Alex hasn't, suddenly, changed his mind about the CIA and other intelligence agencies- at least yet. The Clinton media and left suddenly switched their views on intelligence agencies now. (Though, admittedly, many did switch their views on wars, drone killings, etc once a black guy was in charge.) Alex, though nuts sometimes, build a fortune so a bit impressed (had to give a lot of it up to his wife though.) I don't agree with much of his stuff, but some stuff was spot-on- compared to the "polls" and media expert pundits.

Re: Trump, he was not my first choice (too soft on immigration, too many connections to Hollywood culture and NYC scene, and too much pro-Federal government) but, versus a Clinton and other bad choices? "No brainer." Though the dice. I'm guessing it might turn out well considering the flak he is getting from the press, usual deadbeats, and establishment.  The people, groups, media, etc against him during the campaign, actually made me pull the lever for him. But I'm not under some delusion that he is a messiah, like Obama, or can really "drain the swamp" or "fundamentally change" things considering the people against him, the open borders, the media, etc. But, as I've said before, even if he slows down the decline or implements some of what he said I'll be happy. I'm more worried about the established Republicans than the protestors and illegals. Ideally things like the Supreme Court or the President wouldn't have so much power- but since they have, due to various historical events and self-made Court and policy decisions, I hope traditional and conservative people will hold it or be appointed and approved.

Up All Night

Liberals are comparing Obama's first Inauguration crowd totals to Trump's. What difference does it make ???? It was raining....

Here's a number for you, even when Obama's predecessor left office, his poll numbers were lower, and yet when George Bush's plane landed, there were 20,000 people to greet him.

When Obama's plane landed, there were 20 people to greet him. There were other factors in Obama's landing of course, but taking a cue from the libs, I leave all those factors out, and just report the numbers.

And, so, by Obama's numbers on those greeting him as his plane lands, well, he's a loser.
