I listened to JBW interview Mark Dice. I heard some of John's accents and I agree that they are pretty lame. I find some of Mark's stuff interesting but was put off by all the bible / end of times references injected into the interview. Another major distraction is the god awful audio quality of the guest's connection. Speaker phone? I opted for the video feed because it's easier for me. Not sure if the audio feeds are any better. Overall Meh- but better than Jorge.

frankly, the success of old Alex Jones is somewhat amazing to me, and I like the guy, particularly when he was more local and exposing corruption. Because he encourages and gives away his show and even his movies (some of which are fairly decently produced) for free. And who doesn't like listening to a good rant sometimes. But he encourages people to put up on torrents, burn copies, give away copies, etc. And even gives away his magazines all around Austin and San Antonio (though usually in coffee shops, liquor stores, record storesand "alternative" type stores. (Usually found near by the local free papers.) So his style of marketing "free" must be generating revenue via his advertisers etc. Or, as some say, maybe he is just a "controlled" agent and funded by the guvmint, the jeeews, or the vatican and so profit is and growth come from "them"!!?

Wells is incompetent and a slacker. His C2C bio showed that. He probably already lost interest...I MEAN the government shut him down.

I actually just visited his site which looks like it is from the late 90s. The deal is 5 dollars a month OR 60 for a year!...what a bargain if you purchase a whole year.



Bonus points if he actually forgot to pay a bill and that ultimately resulted in no updates of any kind.

Gotta give JBW credit for trying to get the bumper music going. Should've been considered pre-launch, but maybe time wasn't on his side? Idk. It might be a trickier time for him for downloaded shows, as I've heard that they play by a slightly different rule than a live stream would.

Wells' appreciation for music is one of the things I have always liked about him.

The sound quality on EP10 was horrible. I couldn't stand listing to Professor Griff. It was like he was talking through a tin can. I couldn't stand listening to it for free on youtube, no way in hell i would pay $5 a month for a poorly ran podcast like Caravan To Midnight.

CTM is becoming a huge joke. Over 10 Episodes and they can't figure out how to use a damn sound board. The room he hosts the podcast in has a bad echo. I don't see how CTM podcast is going to make it with morons managing it.

Echo, I agree on the Audio.  I spoke with one of the guys down there.  I think it almost sounds like they are putting a microphone in front of a speaker to get the guest audio. Every once in a while you hear about a 2-300 cycle feedback (HUM) that comes and goes at times from however they are picking up the guest or host audio. They need a good Phone Patch (Phone Interface)  The one I use here is home Built. Hell I was a Ham Radio Operator in the 5th or 6th grade in around 1949 - 50 .... He's doesn't have anyone to build one so if you are aware of one of the high end, high priced unit's out there send me the name and I will look it up and recommend it to them. I just haven't had time to see what's out there commercially..As to the room they broadcast from, a siren went by the building the other day and sounded like it went through the room.. NOT SOUNDPROOF AT ALL.. Did you get around to going to my News site and look it over and the pictures of Truck and control Rooms ?  let me know what you think... Bill

I like the JK Audio Inc. Telephone audio interface. I use the Inline Patch on occasion with good results and it has ample functionality. It's capable of ballanced XLR connections I/O and gain pots for send/return signals to a mixer. It's only for a single phone jack but I believe JK has multi channel options.
The Inline Patch is moderately priced at around $250.

If CTM is mic'ing a speaker cab for phone audio, their audio tech/designer is either, in over his head,  or is forced to use  'creative' audio options due to limited audio equipment/funding. It's not the best way to provide a quality audio product to paying subscribers.

Edit: Maybe JBW refuses to use headphones because of the video/TV show aspect. It sounds like they are probably using a stage monitor/PA system to feed the phone audio to the host. Which in turn, loops through his open mic and creates feedback. They would be much better off to go to an in-ear monitor system to reduce feed back and excessive ambient noice. I don't know why they have chosen to do it this way. It sounds really bad. Maybe they are trying to sound like amateur podcasters. strange.

Thanks Eddie for the info I will Check it out.. Like I said above I got a Home brew rig but I can also EQ to get a more natural sound to match the Host.. Course sometimes its bad no matter what you do.. I have not watched any of the Video Hosting JBW has done and don't know if he's using phones or not, and you could be right, if so he need's a good in ear or Bluetooth device.  I don't know I guess he had to rush to get it all together, it sure is taking a while,  but they have some problems like not able to take credit cards or Debit cards over the phone.  Hell I offered to send the office girl a CC/Debit machine free but she didn't call me back as to weather to ship it or not.  Hope you check out my News site and let me know what you think. You can see some of my Junk in right column. Need a good Blogger Man who knows it inside out to tune up Layout and other feachers (nothing Big just foolishness that would only take time once in a while when we loose something) Need some suggestions on mp3 player widget and Video Widget and safe host for each.. Yeah, like we would always say in video "Garbage In, Garbage Out." If their phone sounds really bad, you'll have a heckuva time making it sound pretty no matter what you do.

Plus your standard voice line doesn't carry the type of frequencies you get from a real mic. Bandpass and all that.

As a very recent enrolee to this forum, I'm still finding my way around, and it looks like "Other C2C Hosts" is the place for my post. I was listening last night to John B. Wells "Caravan to Midnight" broadcast of 2/11/14. I've always preferred John B. over George Noory. Aside from Art Bell, I'd say Wells was/is as credible as the next guy.

Wells' guest on the program I heard last night was Rabbi Steven Ben-Denoon. Have you ever heard this guy?
He was introduced as a "noted author, Biblical Scholar, Student of Hebrew, Former Resident of Israel",
I still can't decide if I just heard THE MOST mind blowing Sh#t ever, or  if Wells has completely gone over the edge.
The Rabbi basically said that The Vatican will be overseer of "The New World Order", The Jesuits are the "muscle" of The Pope, he said things like The Vatican killed Abe Lincoln,( Lincoln represented some guy in a case against the Vatican prior to his Presidency) and JFK, (JFK's assault on the Mafia). The Vatican "invented" Islam in the year 500 or 600. Mohammed married a Catholic girl, and was "groomed" for his roll in helping The Vatican spread Islam. He said that The Vatican wrote the Koran, The Vatican sunk the Titanic because 3 of it's passengers were Jewish Bankers who would not assist The Vatican with it's banking plans. Obama is a Vatican pawn, all U.S. gold has been shipped to The Vatican, The Germans had gold in Fort Knox, which we couldn't deliver to them when they requested it.
