It's not the guys doing the transporting.  It's the idiot with the camera.  The police escort had to slow down to warn him off, and that caused the convoy to suddenly have to slow down.  The following vehicle couldn't see to respond quickly enough.  Then the idiot with the camera gets all jacked and takes no responsibility for what just happened.

That's my take.

Well, maybe I'm speaking out of my ass but I would imagine the mrap driver would have standing orders about the distance he has to maintain behind the transporter, and if the transporter is forced to brake suddenly he doesn't have the reaction time to brake fast enough because he's basically blind to everything but the back of the truck.  But maybe you're right and he was distracted.

Even if it was his fault, the guy with the camera seems oblivious to his role.  In a similar situation I would feel like an ass even if I didn't do anything wrong.  People just don't give a shit how their actions affect anyone else anymore.
