You can "run amok", but can you do anything else amok?  Can you: walk amok?  eat amok?  play scrabble amok?

Wine. Wine is good. 3 glasses of wine even better!  Happy Friday!

interesting you should bring up the word amok. if related to an ongoing news event, maybe it could have a bit of synchronicity.

Interesting. It came to me from a blurb for one of those wacky video shows, about a "bride run amok".  But maybe "there are no coincidences" .....

I found this little guy on my property a couple of days ago.   Really shocked me because here in western Washington you don't often see full on lizards.   You might see salamanders, which are obviously a different species,  but I have never seen anything like this at all.   It probably 6-8" long from head to tail, I would say.   Anyone know what it is?

If you're Spock, you can go into heat and have Amok Time.

Actually that's the Pon Farr. The episode was named "Amok Time".

Now who's a Geek? US!

There are times I laugh, but I'm not laughing here.  You really should listen to at least that one video.  I think you'd find it fascinating.

Anyone wanting to understand more about Casio should listen to all 5 of these videos (asbergers + 4 hair videos)

OK, I listened to about 6 minutes. Definitely not Aspergers at least as a diagnosis for him. I would guess schizoaffective. He has by evidence in other videos congruent emotional responses. He doesn't voice delusional ideations. He is somewhat disorganized in his thought and speech. But, all of this is barely above idle speculation. It appears he lives on some form of assistance... it may be performance art for all I know.

Well I don't know where you got your head shrinkin' degree but I went to the Dan Halen Polytechnic Community College and Institute For Shadow Governments and I'd say that what we got rahtchere is a mild form of Early Cuyler-ism

And on an unrelated note ... is Amy Schumer funny? I can't tell.

About to spend some money on Amazon.com. Came over here to see if an ad would generate so I could click through from here and MV could get a cut of it. So far, no dice. Just J. Crew and Obamacare, which both get thumbs-down from me.

Maybe if I say it over and over:

Amazon.com
Amazon.com

You are such a red shirt, Yorkie!  (That's a jibe in Trek world).  😉

I actually made that post as a stealth trick to draw out the geeks.  You have all been noted and tagged in case I have any future questions about Klingons or Hobbits.

Try running a search for amazon in Google. That might do the trick. I think google ads listen closer to search terms than keywords on a page.

Just walked by Alec Baldwin in Union Square. It was weird because he wasn't yelling obscenities at anyone.

She fuckin killed on Last Comic Standing.  Up for elimination against two others and blew em away.  Then she's up against two others, and it happened AGAIN.  At this point, everyone else was afraid to go up against her.... and she won the season.

Her comedy album "Cutting"... I think it could have been better.
