I love my chubby bunny!  But I am calling bullshit your medication doesn't make you chug red bulls and pepsi.

Seroquel gives me sugar cravings out the wazoo. Also, I'm so tranquilized that if I don't reach for some caffeine I'd sound worse than gay robot boy and his monotonous droning voice.

I have some delicious specialty coffee, black, no sugar, I can recommend.

Don’t worry. I’ll never join one of their lemon parties, just taunt them from the sidelines. ;)

Weird. I love coffee but without sugar I find it undrinkable.

You're inferring I'm pudgy because of my sweet tooth. I take umbrage at this.

"Quetiapine, sold under the brand name Seroquel, is a short-acting antipsychotic drug. It’s used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder and as an add-on treatment for major depression and generalised anxiety disorder in people who haven’t responded to other therapies. The recommended dose range for these conditions is 200-800mg a day.

Quetiapine can cause significant weight gain, even when used in small to moderate doses for sleep. It has also been associated with increased blood glucose (sugar) and dyslipidaemia (an imbalance of fats circulating in the blood). These increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease."

- Petra Czarniak, Curtin University

I not only take 400mg Seroquel, I take Sodium Valproate, Zoloft and Clobazam too.

This cocktail keeps me sane, but makes me mellow and somnolent. Which leads to a less active lifestyle, and therefore a bit of extra weight. I think the payoff is worth it.

I was trying to explain to them that Amy’s recent weight gain is also probably med related but these savages don’t care. ;)

I can do away with the sugar, but there has to be heavy cream in the coffee.

Black coffee is for duck/goose-hunting, or ice fishing (when you can add Jameson to it since you are not shooting firearms).

Hazelnut flavor is nice too.

I mix up my own whole bean blend:

2-2.5 lbs Whole Bean French Roast (usually Member's Mark/Sam's Club brand)
2 lbs Whole Bean Pablo's Pride (Guatemala Medium-Dark Roast)
2-2.5 lbs Whole Bean Hazelnut (Community Coffee Private Reserve, Medium-Light, preferred)

Which is pretty damn good when 28g of beans are ground (not too fine) and steeped in 568g of ~200F water for a minimum of 3 minutes in a French Press.

Very nice flavor, just a hint of Hazelnut when consumed black;  but with the addition of 1Tbsp Hazelnut syrup, 2tsp Sugar and 3oz(fl) heavy cream is freaking awesome.

This will make approximately 24 fluid ounces of coffee which fits neatly in my coffee cup, which looks like this:

This 6-7lbs of mixed coffee beans lasts me just about three months, less if I have more than one cup a day.

French Roast>Pablo's>Heavy Cream>Whole Bean Hazelnut>Sugar>Hazelnut Syrup

I love the idea of black coffee, but, really and truly, I'm just used to having a spoon of sugar in mine. Outta habit.

You can trust me absolutely.  But I am not going to stand in line at the post office until after covid.  Next Christmas I will send you Peet's Holiday Blend.

Just more proof that you’re a capitalist. Socialists are willing to risk covid to “protest” (riot) and so would have no problem braving a simple post office. ::)

Just send me a link where I can buy it online. Even though your crush with the dreamy voice says I'm destitue, I can actually pay my way. I'd hate for you to think I was tryna finagle you out of a bag of coffee. God forbid.

I’m OK with that too up to the point that they might actually break me. It’s been close a couple times.  ;)

I understand, I know bad sugar cravings too because I go without for weeks at a time.  I think asserting control over your body, and the endorphins exercise release, will help you feel good, too.  I tell you the truth because I love you, and I am sure your doctor would say the same.  Now kiss me, bunny.

OK...anything else?  ???
