I would never in a million years have guessed this.  Given long enough, I might have guessed the rusty soup can thingy, but not this.  I've never been to Boston, but the only watering hole whose patrons I've heard some pretty shady things about is on Dalton Street.  Wouldn't be that one, would it?

        There's a few neighborhood pubs/bars deep in South Boston that still are "buckets of blood" from the Whitey Bulger era, mostly in and around the various housing projects(West Broadway/Old Colony Ave). This place that irks me isn't shady, it's more of a nuisance...that's owned by firefighters. They have connections. For instance, there's little parking space here. Hey anybody ever use soundforge protools or reaper?  I've been using reaper lately and have found myself sucked into the sound engineer thing.  The guitars are all me and we have computer drums but... they kick ass... no human being could play like that.  Since nothing was written before I started to record and mess around I've found myself having trouble actually playing all the way through my own shit without my hand cramping up... gettin mah chops back.  Anyways, I'll have a sound file up here for you guys to peruse and abuse eventually.  Need bass and vocals now.

I think you can can count on it. What I can't figure out is, with all the NSA capability and activity, why aren't we recording every word spoken by every non-American who has ever considered picking up an AK and killing the hell out of them? Hell, we didn't even have any idea who the Tsarnaevs were, much less had listened to the Russians who said that the boys were in town and about to blow shit up. It was considered much more important by our Executive Branch to siphon and analyze the content of 100 million domestic phone calls.

I don't recall an enemy country being named, since most of the book is about internal control and the crushing of dissent. But "Emmanuel Goldstein" is a counter-revoultionary hated by Big Brother and the Ingsoc (English Socialist Party) which holds power in the "Airstrip One" province (Britain) of Oceania. Goldstein leads The Brotherhood against the oppressive government, and is the author of the book which subverts protagonist Winston Smith into fantasizing about bringing down Big Brother. Or at least that's what I recall the Cliff's Notes saying in about 1970.

no, i'm not a vegan.  the 1/3 of my food that's regular food is comprised of whatever i feel like eating.  had some ribs yesterday, as a matter of fact.
