MAGSAFE SWEPT THE STRASBOURG TESTS

The now -famous Strasbourg Tests put MagSafe on the map. To Summarize what nearly everyone already knows, over 600 live French Alpine goats (their bodies are very much like humans) were shot under controlled conditions: no anesthetic, same shot placement form animal to animal, and with blood pressure and heart rate monitors to determine the Incapacitation Time (measure of how long it took a goat to cease functioning after the single shot was delivered).

MagSafe Ammo worked - better than anything else. Tests were done without MagSafe's knowledge, so some versions tested were the lowest powered. For example, two types of .380 ACP are offered; the .380 Defender, a 60-grainer at 1,360 fps in a Colt Mustang; and the .380 MAX (designed for a big city's undercover drug agents) with a 52-grain slug sizzling along at 1,620 fps in the Mustang.

The Defender has 247 ft-lbs of energy, while the MAX load has 303 ft-lbs. The Defender's lower velocity hampered stopping power, resulting in a Average Incapacitation Time (AIT) of 7.12 seconds. That's the average time for five different goats, each shot once with the MagSafe 60-grain Defender.


However - and this is where things get interesting - there wasn't a jacketed hollowpoint bullet in ANY caliber which dropped the goats faster than MagSafe's weakest .380 load!

MagSafe's .380 beat every .45 ACP slug, every 10mm, every 9mm (including police-only ammo), every .40 caliber - no matter who made it - Cor-Bon, Remington, Glaser and HydraShok.

In fact, MagSafe's lowest-powered .380 ACP load had an AIT faster than the best manstopper of all time - Remington's .357 Magnum 125-grain JHP!

Conclusion:
The .357 is too, hot for most people to handle.  The .38 +P just isn't powerful enough to do the job.  Magsafe Ammo in any caliber .380 or larger, is as good or better than the best conventional round.  Smaller caliber means more fire power, however.  19 round magazines in 9mm Magsafe Defender, might be about the best median solution.

One advantage of a larger caliber, is that the wider entrance wound puts the slug closer to the target, such as the heart, if not dead on.  The lower number of rounds in the clip, would be the disadvantage, but longer magazines can be used if you don't mind the clip extending out below the butt of the grip.  With Magsafe Ammo, of course, recoil is negligible in all calibers.

Before studying with Chen, Yu-Ben, Yang, Lu-Chan, had already mastered Shaolin, Liu He Hsing-I, and Wu Tang Thirteen Postures.  Hsing-I, is based upon the Spear. Old Chen family boxing contains elements of Shaolin Red Fist, and Hsing-I.

Yang's style, comes from the Shaolin, Hshing-I, Wu Tang Thirteen Postures, and Old Chen family boxing.

Yang, Lu-Chan, traveled the land, carrying his spear and challenging everyone.

The disparity in Yang Ban-Hou's, Tai Chi, from that which he taught to the Manchu Imperial Guard, was noted by Pu Ru, the brother of the last Ching dynasty's emperor. Pu Ru was a renowned artist from whom Dr. Chiang learned Chinese calligraphy and Northern style painting. YC Chiang, lived next door to Cheng, Man-Ching, in Taiwan, but studied with Kuo, Lien-Ying.

David Cheng was a twenty year student of Cheng, Man-Ching, in Taiwan. He taught 108 form Classical Yang style,
yet, when he demonstrated applications, he utilized frame from, Kuan Ping Yang, and Ba Gua.

Bruce Lee studied T'ai Chi, I-Ch'uan, and boxed using Wing Chun.
Jeet Kune Do is based primarily on Fencing and Western Boxing.

Too, funny!  Just to be safe, I would avoid the shoddy, sloppy, Hornady Critical and Zombie 9mm rounds, and opt for the Winchester 180 grain .40 Defender; unless, of course, no Magsafe is to be found.  I find it most ludicrous that great, big, strapp'n FBI agents can't train to handle Remington 125 grain .357 JHP, or even the forty. 

I can understand plinkers not finding those pleasurable to shoot all day, but as defensive carry, people won't pack .357, even to save their lives.  Really, all one needs to do is practice with 9mm or .38 to save money during extensive practice, and then shoot a box of potent shit to get competent at handling the recoil along with the blast of noise and flames.
