His death was natural, his FACE was NOT!

"Kenny Rogers gambled with plastic surgery - and lost!" says Dr. Youn.  "I'm not happy about it," the country crooner told People magazine in 2006 of a botched eyelid lift. "It drives me crazy."

There'll be time enough for counting, when the dealing's DONE.  RIP Mr Rogers

My mom LOVED him but I just thought he was alright. Dolly moreso. His chicken was pretty good though the franchise didn’t seem to last very long. My experience was that they started very strong but then the quality steadily declined. It’s probably hard to find dedicated quality empolyees in an industry known for being among the bottom of the employment ladder. Maybe that’s why?

Just heard about Kenny's death tonight.  I saw this album mentioned in a Rolling Stone piece about Kenny.  Pretty cool.  RIP, Kenny and also Stuart Whitman.

Back in the day I caught a Kenny Rogers-Dottie West performance in Virginia Beach.  One of the best live shows I’ve seen.

Burt Lancaster was a fan. She worked in MI-6 during the war (secretarial duties, apparently.)

"Peter Caddy began a rudimentary garden in the sandy ground of the trailer park. During meditation in 1963 Dorothy’s inner guidance suggested that she begin to contact the consciousness of nature and cooperate with the unseen spirits of the garden"

One of my favorite actors.
He was good and in so many roles. I also always took comfort that he would be roaming suburban neighborhoods at night identifying who had woken up due to heartburn and offering some advice.

I know he was probably in a ton of stuff but this is all that comes to mind for me:

I probably haven’t seen it since then but I remember it being a decent 80s action flick.
