BTW, what happened to P90-X??  Maybe the 90 days are over, so they X-ed Snoors out?  Probably they had a short term deal with C2C and have been underwhelmed with the response so they terminated the sponsorship?  That's my guess.  That plus the fact that a dumpy old turd like Snoors is not the best spokesperson for a fitness product.  The C2C audience is probably not the demographic they should be shooting for.  The tin-foil hat and conspiracy crowd is just not all that much into bulking up and buffing out, my best guess. So what sponsorships can we anticipate on C2C as Snoors enters his golden years?  Viagra, Cialis??  Metamucil and Ensure??  Maybe the Snoorman bumping around the studio in his Hoveround??

Noory would make a good shill for some Alzheimer's drug.  He could state it's slowing down the degeneration of his brain.  But come to think of it, only people with Alzheimer's would actually believe him.

I have been reading a couple of threads where some of the best anti-noorites among us are STILL streamlink subscribers -

No exuce for this, send a email saying your canceling and this is why - like I did many years ago!

PLEASE DONT PAY PREMRAT!

:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Why would ANYONE  subscribe to Streamlink?  Most shows are available on Youtube for free.

stevesh

C2C doesn't refund any of your money if you cancel before your subscription ends, unlike reputable online providers, so those of us who may have signed up in a fit of madness/stupidity are waiting for the end of our subscription, or the end of C2C, whichever comes first. Premiere doesn't care if we cancel early.

Tara

I stopped renewing my Streamlink subscription a couple of years ago.  I emailed listing my reasons for cancellation.  I received a snarky response from someone at C2C.  It's a no class operation.

maybe for the other 'perks' like the weekly Tuesday night live inernet chats with Noory and other guests?  :P

Tinfoil Hat

I've been a Coast "Insider" for a few years now. Lately I noticed that I'm not even listening or downloading one show a week where I used to download almost all of them. Things have been sliding badly over there, especially in the last year and they've gotten even worse since the Mayan calendar ended. Is it just me?

Anyway, do you think I should keep or kill my Coast Insider account? I'm on the fence and I appreciate your thoughts.

Eddie Coyle

Kill that sucker until it's dead and unsuitable for an open casket. Coast Insider losing members could hasten Noory's long overdue demise.

onan

Every penny you give keeps noory on the air.

Morgus

its a scam - you can get free downloadable mp3 files and live streaming stations of the c2c shows from internet sources.
all you can't get free is being part of Noory's dumb Tuesday night live 'chats'

Tinfoil Hat

Today I cancelled my Coast Insider membership. I can't help but feel a little sad, not so much for saving a few bucks, but for how badly the show has deteriorated in the last few years.

Anyway, upon cancelling, they send you an exit survey. One thing I found interesting is that while they ask you why you're cancelling your membership, No Longer Like the Show/Host is not one of the options.

This spells out in huge letters that Premier Radio could really give a crap, just like George Noory.

11angeleyes11

Now you won't have fun and have apps with pictures of George all of them.  Is it a cold and lonely world being an Outsider?

Morgus

Won't you miss the weekly Tuesday night live chats with Noory? :P

ItsOver

That's like missing beating yourself senseless with a ball peen hammer.  ;D

Girlthulhu

If I had the extra money just sitting around, I wouldn't hesitate to sign up. Why? Well, every Tuesday night, I'd make it a point to repeatedly ask George Noory about pizza rolls until I received a cease and desist letter.

Remarkably, that letter would be the crowning achievement of my life.

jazmunda

I cancelled a long time ago and have never looked back. That show will never again get a cent from me.

popple

They didn't even have a box for you to fill out ?  :o

Tinfoil Hat

My subscription wasn't up until April which is why I waited.

They did have a box for comments and I told them the reason I was cancelling was because George was such a horrible host. I ended out checking the box marked "cost" as my reason figuring that being charged anything to hear George phone it in was too much. Heck, George is so bad they should pay us to listen to him!

I doubt they even read the comments except to sort out "haters" for George's "bad prayer" list.

As many things as I dislike about Snoory (and it's a long, long list), the thing that pisses me off the most is whenever he talks about his supposed "haters". He just glosses over anybody who even offers minor criticisms, immediately labeling them as a "hater", and therefore unimportant.

Just once -- JUST ONCE! -- he should pay attention. He should say "Well, maybe they're a little right," and try to make improvements to his show, his interviewing style, his personality -- whatever.

But he doesn't. He just continues to willingly suck.

Honestly, if it weren't for the old Art Bell shows, I wouldn't keep renewing my subscription every month. But other than that, I don't bother reading or paying any attention to anything Snoorge related on the page. I really don't like having to give any more money to Jorch itch, but I figure for the still tremendous archive of AB shows, many of which I haven't seen anywhere else, the extra 6.75 a month really isn't that much outa my pocket.

I agree with your strategy. I can't give premrat a dime... I get angry whenever I look at the c2c site.

Tinfoil Hat

The only problem with said strategy is that you can't download any of the old Art Bell shows off the C2C site. Thank goodness for the Fine Art Stream and Funklbaldy archive! Now I'm absolutely spoiled and I won't be giving C2C a dime until they get decent hosts and start putting out good shows again.

They have added a lot of Ian and Knapp shows to the classic show archive, as well.  I figure one less pack of smokes a month is worth that.

Looks like those are basically recorders, onan. I find downloading is much faster and more convenient. Still some of that freeware looks more functional than Audacity for recording whole shows. Thanks for the link!

I am not very techy. but yeah they are recorders. If that is the only way to get a Bell file... I recorded several files a couple years ago, I believe at that time you could d/l files from c2c. I recorded off the Stream here. But it was more work than I wanted to deal with. Anyhoo if it helps great if it is a pita... my apologies.
