He didn't deserve to die for whatever personal beef the cop with him (maybe) or because he was violating the face-covering and stay-at-home Corona-Chan orders. Apparently he had no regard to others safety or health since he was tested positive and was still out and about. Even trying to pass a fake $20 or his previous gangster lifestyle back in the 3rd Ward, doesn't justify his death by cop(s.) Certainly he paid his time for holding a gun to a pregnant women's stomach during a home invasion robbery and so didn't deserve any police oversight. But his tragic death also doesn't justify burning and looting. Or some kind of societal revolution. Or eliminating all police. He wasn't a saint, despite his turning his life around, as claimed, which I'm sure meth, fentanyl, etc helped in this process.  RIP Big Floyd. Canonization soon, I hope.

Not much to add to that. I suppose we can hope that they put up "Floyd" statues in place of all the ones torn down over the last few days...

The George Custer statue still stands in Michigan but apparently there is hand wringing over it.   Does it stay or go?
On one hand he and the Michigan 7th Calvary were absolute lions in the war against slavery.   Taking grevious losses but blunting Stuart's attack at Gettysburg, whipping Early in the Shenandoah and blocking Lee from escaping and receiving the first rebel flag of truce.  On the other hand he was wiped out by the Lakota, Arapaho and Cheyenne.  So obviously a racist, albeit an ineffective one.    What to do.....  What to do?
