Just tuned in a bit ago.  Was surprised that he had the guest on already.  That Saturday show of his was freaking brutal.  2 hour show and he would spend like the first 50 minutes of it on some inane monologue.   

He would just do the Chatty Kathy doll thingy - pulling his own string.
