Coincidentally, in the Quantum realm, the act of observing a particle is to cause it to change.  One may know where a particle is, but not when it is, or one might know when a particle is, but not where it is.

Perhaps some entity has applied Quantum principals at the macro level?  Bi-Location renders the speed of light, irrelevant.

I'm not qualified to verify this offhand, without a reference guide, but am willing to take you as if this is accurate.  If so, then this if quite fascinating.
