Coronavirus 2020

Started by MV/Liberace!, January 23, 2020, 11:29:38 PM

Is this the worst website that ever was or ever will be?  It mentions a Corona-Chan cure, along with an 80 foot snake getting killed by a lion, and  a guy killing 32 camels and a demand for 25 grand by the "web master"

Enter at your own risk.   ;)

Yeah, you're right, I think that's what started it.  The ebay listings call them "tactical" which makes me howl.  Cultural appropriation.  I remember a few weedy bearded fellows sporting those distinctive Pashtun berets that look like pies with a crimped crust, too.
I recall a beautiful trend back when, many girls, somehow, were favoring surplus Germany tanktop tshirts. With the Reichsadler.  Even in the more hippie-types since surplus stores and thrift stores were always a go-to. Good times, and look. Even if they were the enemy (formerly) the design was not for the female shape, so excellent on them.

ps: I also like how everything is "tactical." What happened to strategy? Or other concerns?

Don't fuck with KD, when it comes to baking and fashion.  ;D

Oh yeah you have to have several different looks, change it up.  I see the jealous looks from the fatties in the cat prints.  I'm not going to the store looking like my mom sewed me something from her old bloomers.

It's called a keffiyeh or shemagh -- spellings vary as usual with Arabic transliterations.  They were hot maybe a decade ago when Urban Outfitters sold them and I still have a couple left over, one in a fetching turquoise.  Probably ebay is your best bet -- I went looking a couple weeks ago before I found my old ones.  There's videos showing how to tie so you don't look like an idiot.

I've already cornered the market for Spam, to balance my sardine diet and to price gouge the soon to be starving masses.

Whew! Luckily I got my supply of sardines, SPAM, potted meat, and various types of tuna (canned and that new yuppie pouches varieties.) And scored the last of the canned kippers the other day! But Hamm's I cannot find! Argh.. Lonestar will suffice and  more better for bandito styling!

I think there is a term for that, which escapes me.  Goes back at least as far as the European vogue for everything Turkish after the siege of Vienna -- that lasted at least a hundred years, with music from Fux to Mozart and Beethoven.

These are pretty lit too but they only ship from Russia https://www.ebay.com/itm/Russian-Balaclava-Operative-SOBR-Black-Military-Bandana-Hat/332775326052?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160811114145%26meid%3Df645ed8ba1244206993da06cde66c6e1%26pid%3D100667%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D8%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D222002052993%26itm%3D332775326052%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2334524&_trksid=p2334524.c100667.m2042

Though "tactically" often impractical, because so warm unless in very cold areas, I always liked the traditional ones that are thicker and have the bridge of the nose covered so as to have two eye-holes. I think strikes fear better. Not that I would want to strike fear.

There has always been a suicidal-bent to much of European culture. There is some term for that also. One notes that Goethe apparently received an insane amount of "fan letters" over "Sorrows" and there was a suicide spike on account of it. But it goes to other things also. Muslim hordes and music/fashion/acceptance. Schopenhauer- my currently lockdown mind recalls- I think wrote something to the effect of a suicide by forcing one's self to not breath was some kind of perfection of will?

I don't know if I could pull the red one off.  It is very bold.  You'd have to go all black like he is or it would be a clown show.  Black is safer, always stylish, tones everything else down.

Which Keffiyeh would make me look more like my name is Mohammad and i drive a Toyota Hilux with a .50 cal mounted in the bed?

Of the two, the red is stands out more.  Kind of channels Arafat.    However, I'd submit for consideration the Fear and Loathing look.

Honestly, WOTR's avatar has always been my favorite and before Corona-Chan. And the odd cant of the head with the mask and garb, suggesting some inspection- or introspection- of the situation or victim.

There is never a new black.  They always say it but that is just to sell you things.  You're welcome.

Also the Hilux has been done positively to *death*.   Better to go old school.

Fredo Cuomo shows his ass again.  Not only is he a colossal hypocrite, he's showing signs of being on illegal steroids.

Ha. Loved that show. But, let us be serious Jeeps are pretty weak. Fun but weak. Ok, I will allow the styling and storage of the Scrambler. Now the Dodge Powerwagons are still used and can handle logging roads (might bog down in the sand though) and not known for speed. That is what was fun about the Jap trucks. Quick, small, and tough. I hate to say it but they are tough. Not much power but light so quick and still tough.

Isn't it funny how things pop up on one's browser? Because they don't track you. Old article but funny because suggests, as some have posited, about rift or feud within the "elites" or "globalists." Of course this could all be a deception. But I'm not sure why it is assumed by some that there wouldn't be internal rivalry and just the usual human drama. Especially in a real "global" cabal. (Easier when machinations are closed and refined.)

My brother brought this one back from the sandbox for me.  Trust me, there's no way to wear it here in Florida without looking like an idiot.  (Yeah, I know it's sideways--you figure it out.)

What is the weight of the fabric like on a real one from over there?  Mine are thinner than a linen dishtowel; you end up breathing through three or four layers of the stuff at least.  That looks like it could be thicker.

Really, that is a lovely one anyone could wear but you have watch the videos on how to tie it, with a point in the front and at least a row of fringe showing.  I would tie it for you, put on a safari jacket, you'd be beating them off with a stick.

Here, this should cover everyone:

Having second thoughts on the red, too.
