I suspect that the Global Population docs there (and the usual Malthusian, "Limits to Growth" Rome, and etc were the source of the quote, which is likely spurious- but has his spirit if not verbatim.

They are not, in any sense, the "source of the quote".  You will look in vain for any reference to depopulation.  They advocate a phased-in birthrate of 3 and then 2 children per couple through voluntary means like education and providing contraception, including sterilization which would be controversial except that it is widely practiced in this country voluntarily.  That is not depopulation.

I was interested to see if there was a reference to regional depopulation through migration but didn't see that, either.  Migration is cited as a concern but is seen as an unfortunate consequence of overpopulation, not a solution.

Fine, I'm in.  Too bad you have to use that "Tennesee Whiskey" rot-gut.  I guess it could be used to sanitize a graduated beaker prior to measuring out a purely medicinal & prophylactic dram of Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

I figured you were bringing the Bourbon.  Now whether or not you were planning to share is another question.  What the hell am I thinking?  Insert face palm here.  It's obviously Bring Your Own Bourbon.

Gotta make hay while the Sun shines.  Understandable.    Afterwards maybe you can fish for a tiger.

I figured they were fishing for bats, pangolins, or some other god awful creature to scarf down or cohabitate with to create the next "gift" for all mankind.

Also I’m ready to revolt this socialist bullshit lock down nonsense.

20% Unemployment
Ruined economy
Literally a lack of liberty

All for 40,000 death toll which is same as flu. The models are all bullshit and the “experts” counter factual models are meaningless. We have no clue what would have happened if we just took our chances. Way to extreme reaction to lock down the entire country.

Also we as a nation can’t keep taking endless debt to pay for healthcare and tax incentives to rebuild the economy.

The media and China need to be held accountable. You can add the UN was to the group too. Americans should be in arms about what has occurred.

All the media hype about ventilators. NO ONE is not going to get one who needed on. Who is holding the media accountable on this.

aldousburbank

As in the case of last October’s  PG&E “emergency power shutdowns”, this emergency shutdown of basic economic and civil liberties carries the distinct aroma of bullshit.

Though the devil on one shoulder says one should be impressed with bankruptcy filings, new emergency, and making people elsewhere think "Camp Fire" was something related like some Cub Scouts who hadn't gotten their fire safety badge or something. He also plays the fun audios back when ENRON etc had their highjinx out there. Almost, almost as good as "pull it."  ;)

Dr. MD MD

The natives are getting restless. Just listen to kidnobrains and obey Kissinger. He obviously knows what’s best for you. Now, be good and line up for your vaccinations.  :)

P.S. You’ll still have to line up for everything else afterward. ;)

I think it was source of the quote. Or one of them. As I said likely spurious quote but those briefs, studies, and meetings- secret- likely caused the "quote." Keeping things secret is bad, sometimes. Also so much funding. Because every scenario modeled and funded. Then- leaked- or by law released sounds more ominious or planned. And when outsourced even more so.

No one will be held accountable.  If the death toll is lower than expected, fearmongering will be justified as an effort to get the public to take the threat seriously and dampen resistance to the countermeasures, which will be credited with the lower-than-predicted death toll.

I hope (fingers crossed) that a much lower number will cause folks to look at government, and experts, with a jaundiced eye, wary of their power, as a salutary reminder that that the state will reach for the stick a hundred times before it ever thinks of offering a miserable carrot.  The problem is that conspiracy-peddling chuckleheads will be in the vanguard of any counter-reaction, blunting its effect like the unwitting agents provocateurs they are.

Add to "list."

I have a crap load of ants. Not fire ants, luckily. But even getting in house. Not sugar ants. Also lots of those crazy catepillars (that turn into moths) but have that crazy twitching n flop on belly n look red to scare predators but backside blend in to tree bark. End Times!

The fact is I have never been a fan or defender of Henry Kissinger.  What irks the shit out of me are dimwits who use whatever they can find on the internet no matter how outlandish or implausible to make an argument. They believe what conforms to their prejudices or ostensibly supports their argument rather than what is rational or verifiably true which in my book makes them fish wives with a keyboard.  For one to get something wrong with honest intentions is one thing but anyone who persists in a claim or assertion that is demonstrably false because one has a hard-on for an individual or group makes one a fucking liar or a Democratâ€"but then I repeat myself.

Another fact is there is more bullshit being strewn by certain posters on these boards than could be spread by a John Deere manure spreader over any equal amount of time.  I hate to single out individuals but one of their names rhymes with Dick Doctor.  To be fair, he is a psychological shut-in and his mother locks him in the basement with his iPad everyday as an alternative to adult daycare.  If he didn’t have BG as an outlet for his fantasies he’d be gnawing on the drywall, blowing spit bubbles and abusing himself all day.

1st) All will be held accountable, eventually. Though not my place or responsibility to do so or claim how, when, or why.

2nd) can I look at it with a gimlet eye. Will carrots still help that? Even if I like them almost rendered into mush with a nice roast?

3rd) bleed the beast, is an idea. Interestingly from both "sides" of the political spectrum.

Oh, and BTW, you certainly were defending Kissinger. That’s how this all started. Or can’t you remember that far back anymore?

Wait until you get a chance to look at the total numbers of deaths during March and April of 2020 and you can’t find a single death which was contributed to a heart attack, stroke, pneumonia or the flu. I bet cancer deaths will be significantly lower as well.  And then look to see how many of those types of deaths occurred in March and April of any of the previous 5 years.  The number of daily deaths because of the Coronavirus is certainly inflated in each day’s reports.  Anyone that dies of a cardiopulmonary cause right now is being coded as a Coronavirus death.

And then compare accidental death rates. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the overall death rate is lower this year.  Until the suicides start because we are still locked down and there are no more reruns to binge watch on Netflix.

Take it up with kid. He represents Kissinger here.

Also, ever since he’s been here his whole mission has been to bandwagon Trump nationalism in an effort to steer us back to Kissinger, Rockefeller, et al globalism. It’s just sad that he doesn’t seem to think anyone’s caught on yet.

Show me where I had anything favorable to say about Henry Kissinger.    I said what you posted is bullshit and so it remains.  Once again you lie.

Any job prospects?

Coded rang a bell. I wonder about billing, not just the dying. Billing medical codes are key, even in normal times. A keystroke wrong or a nurse-practioner or Doc calls for the wrong code and someone paying much more or on their own dime. (Or accepted as inflation for the rest of us n 'covered' by premiums or taxes.) Does COVID-19 have code for billing etc?
