Guess the Navy has a plan for keeping the virus off the submarines.  They are coming and going............

I’m wondering if the virus could just be the first wave of a CCP attack?

Random dude on GLP says Texas is "Wide Open"

QuoteOur speed limit in Texas has became whatever their heap will go. Im serious, no cops to be found anywhere. I was cruising at 95mph and a suv went by me like I was standing still. People are afraid if they follow another car they will catch it... Im not saying its like this in the cities , I imagine they're guarding the rich neighborhoods, the banks and the high dollar businesses and thats it.

Personally, I don't think were prepared enough yet for it to have been an orchestrated thing.  That being said, Taiwan is first on the dinner menu and opportunity knocks.
They've got the world by the nuts right now with manufacturing and as long as Putin can secure them an oil supply they have to be at least thinking about it.  That window
won't stay open for long.

Not sure where he is driving but it is a complicated situation here. Speed limit standards vary by municipality, type of road, sometimes even night/day or type of vehicle. And likely also so better opportunities for rural sheriffs to kick ass and smaller departments to generate revenue from tickets and asset forfeiture.  ;) But, generally, you can go pretty fast especially out west in the middle of nowhere.  I see cops around town and country these days. Likely protecting "rich people" and "the banks though."  ;)

Good deal. So are you going to take the Ariel Atom out for a little romp then?

I always enjoy Jeremy poking fun at fat Americans.  I guess he only looks in funhouse mirrors.

I'm in tense negotiations with Bob to get one of his contraptions. He is more of an engineer than Clarkson, though I like him also simply because the environmentalist leftists hated him and he makes fun politically-incorrect comments sometimes. And he apparently punched out his own producer and  a caterer.

I hope these workers wear "color appropriate" bandanas. Lest workers set off some kind of gang feud between Crips/Bloods (and associated Hispanic gangs) or get accidentally hung by an honest citizen or deputy thinking they were a bank-robber or horse rustler!

He won an Oscar for this role. Or should've. He at least one for some roles, I recall.

Apparently a "turn that frown upside down" and capitalize on an unfortunate town name. Make the joke a money-making joke.

Damn thread.  AFAIK the US does not have any of those big flu trucks disinfecting our cities link China does.
No it turns out we are also lacking in flu beasts of burden.  :'(

3-M is selling its entire production of masks to foreign countries while stiff-arming states like Florida because the foreign countries are paying with cash at a higher price.  That is profiteering by any definition so why hasn't anyone been arrested yet?

The stuff I saw on that (which may or may not be accurate) made it sound like it was distributors and middle men that were doing that but it's insane and infuriating. Why are they in the loop currently anyway?  I'd agree that a spot in Riker's Island seems about right.

That's true but 3-M licenses its distributors of which there are only about 20 and they are therefore acting as direct agents.  3-M is ultimately liable.   Other opinions are invited.

They’re obviously racist against health.

Relax, boomer! I’m sending a couple plain clothes to escort the upper management of 3M to Rikers.
