That is good news, I'm really liking all the front line unofficial trials that are ongoing.  This one might prevent transmission which will help in the long run.  If we can get drugs like this to prevent healthcare worker infections as well as ones to help get workers back to work after infection, the better the public will be.

IIRC, last Friday Israel sent the US 7 million doses of one of the drugs that speeds recovery. Novartis seems to ring a bell.

...and a video of a bunch of bodies in an Ecuador hospital that looks a whole hell of a lot like the one supposedly from NYC yesterday.   

They are terrible viewing if what they are purported to be is true.

It's funny. I knew that was the reason (the same thing with "it will all be normal by Easter.) It won't stop me from poking fun of that at Easter (or between now and Easter.)

He is also, I believe, the only world leader left who is not "leading" from a basement while isolating. I believe it is important and that it gives people some hope that seeing him at a press conference with a senior team is a positive. Is it safe? Who(zit) knows. But it is psychologically important for a nation to know that this is not the apocalypse (yet.)

Our good friends, the Holland America cruise ships MS Zaandam and MS Rotterdam definitely seem to be headed for Fort Lauderdale. After they exited the Panama Canal yesterday they did a weird little dipsy doo towards San Andres Island (a small island off of Nicaragua that is owned by Columbia!?!) which didn't seem to be on the route to the US.  They split up at the island, looped north and regrouped.  Now they are nearing Havana - taking the route between the western end of Cuba and the eastern part of the Yucatan as opposed to going thru the slot between Haiti and Cuba. 

Seems like the Coast Guard will drop the hammer on the plague ship and try keep it away:

Meaning I guess they want those with sick to return to the tax dodge haven the ship is registered in.  Later in the article, Trump is quoted:

“They’re dying on the ship,” Trump said. “I’m going to do what’s right. Not only for us, but for humanity.”

Will be interesting to see what happens.
