I'm awaiting the summer blockbuster "Cops vs. Corona Chan vs. BLM vs. Antifa."  The MSM will probably explode in excitement, drumming up the fight of the century.
Add in some kind of monster shark and all these hired Orwellian "contract tracers" into the mix and we will do lunch and I'll put out some feelers in Hollywood and/or China (if we can spin the PLA to come and save the day I can almost guarantee funding....)

Heh, heh, ... oh, yeah, have to throw in some sharks and you can't go wrong with a tornado or hurricane, too.

Note that if you actually are already depressed--and let us be clear here, you are in fact, posting on BellGab, just how cheerful could you really be inside--and this is something you do to increase your personal pleasure quotient, well... I might need a lot more Keepers.

Bellgab is extravagant superfluity.  This is my plumage

Bars opened up here in Orange County, CA this past weekend...I would say normal, but it's odd to walk into a Walmart or Target and have to wear a mask, but you can visit any restaurant or bar and none are required. Odd.

Another lower tier beer that I didn't care for was Old Style...they have it on draught at Wrigley Field...it tasted like chaff. LOL

Hate to say that at the Univ of Il, they sold Old Milwaukee in bottles...it was actually not that bad for the price. LOL Imagine finding Old Milwaukee in a bottle today. Ha

Mein Gott! Hamm's is refreshing and great made from clear blue waters. Ol' Milwaukee would airdrop you a Swedish Bikini Team when you are fishing and drinking that pale-golden nectar. And I still shake my head when I can't find Meister Bräu anywhere these days. Or, for those more festive occasions, say for a Christmas gift for the porter and mailman...whatever happened to Michelobe? Not this yuppie crap claiming exercise and beer but the classy kind in that unique bottle?

Thankfully some regional brands still around, under contract brewing. Rainer, Lonestar, Old Bohemia, Pearl, Olympia so will buy when in those markets. But, often, they don't taste quite as good as the old days.

Never had the "Brau"...I wonder if you can still find it today. I still drink and have since I was a young strapping chap Michelob...the original...I have to go to BevMo or Total Wine to find it, but they still make it. There is a bar in the "Casino Royale" on the strip, next to to the Venetian that sells old Michelob bottles for $1.50...they upped their price from $1 about 3 years ago...best deal on the strip!

Bwahahah...never seen or heard of that beer! LOL Where is it from?

Advantage of growing up in a border city.   It was from Canada. You get twice the cheap brews as a teenager growing up.

There is quite a sordid affair with regard to Moosehead.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homicide_of_Richard_Oland

Regarding cheapness it was likely due to taxation and import differences? I don't know. The only place I can find Canadian Beers (Molson, Labette's Blue, Moosehead, etc) down here are at the local hockey rink. And, surprisingly, not that much more $ than regular domestics. See a few in local Marts as Austin has become more Cosmopolitan.

I seem to recall that Canadian beers were also usually stronger than American or British beers. Not crazy more strong, until they initiated that fad in the 90's with 'ice beer'.  There also was a weird time in which a phenomena, that nobody could really explain, about 'dry' beer. "Bud Dry?" WTF was that deal. It went away quickly.

It has to be something with import/export...import our dairy Canada and we will import your beer with no tariffs...that might explain the price difference...I tried Moosehead...it wasn't that bad.
