They just follow must thru their cell phones.  For those out in the sticks without phones, I think I read where the CCP was offering cash rewards for each confirmed coofer turned it.  Hefty ones too.  As in like a typical months salary.
Yes. But that is a lot of work. Whose phone is always with others- and even then you don't know if the people are friends. But if I go to the same bar as you night after night we may not even have a conversation. If I tell the government that we spent quite a lot of time within 6 feet of each other. Well- now they know. Now guessing, not assumptions. Who is talking to who at mosque. Who is fucking who. All of this data given freely.

Well they certainly have plenty of CCP stooges to work this things out.   More headed to the Coof Camp:

Bought stuff a few weeks ago, less out of concern for the virus and more over people clearing out shops. Went to the supermarket two nights ago and shelves for bread, meat, and toilet paper had been completely emptied.
Only thing I probably don't have is bottled water, but I've got two largeish water tanks on my property and I figure that if things ever got bad enough to affect the water supply I can use that water with a bit of treatment.

Good man.  If your Forefathers could hack the Kokoda Track, I'm confident you'll survive Corona-Chan.  8)

Damn.  Even San Marino has multiple cases now. That's one of the smallest countries around.

Good luck. Oddly no panic here, yet. They even still have free disposable gloves and alcohol-gel hand gel for free at the gas station for those folks who don't like gas smell or contact on their hands when gassing up. I've seen no shortages on anything except N-95 and other masks at HD and Lowe's- but have seen masks elsewhere but the really cheap kind. No run at the liquor stores- usually a key thing before a storm or panic and plenty of TP etc at stores. But still good to stock up.

Prepping just finished, ramen noodles ordered and 2 big bottles of Siracha.

12 more cases in the UK accounted this afternoon.

Marital unit has latex gloves to use for his commute from tomorrow.

Thank fuck I work from home.

Whatever turns his crank. Sometimes I like to play doctor, as well.

UK- population 67 million with 28 cases. Canada 37 million with 24 cases. And I waded unprotected into the infected masses in an Asian market this afternoon for fish. I decided to venture out of my house where I have been isolated these last few weeks and brave the hordes of sick and dead. Dozens dropped around me- but I'm happy to report that I'm likely still uninfected.

In all honesty- if he is really that worried about it, be sure that he knows how to take them off. Most people grab the outside and negate the whole (already pointless) exercise.

Is Harry Chan always that entertaining. I know that it probably does not show through in my posting history- but sometimes I appreciate dark humour and sarcasm. If he is regularly that funny, I might have to look him up.

See what havoc the mildest of bio-weapons can wreck?  If China and Russia continue to violate treaties and continue to annex foreign territories, then what of the treaty against the use of bio-weapons?  I think President Trump has sent a message.

As posted earlier, Coronavirus and SARS have been spliced in the same location of the DNA strand. They're engineered, but by whom?  Considering that China has current epidemics of Swine and Avian Flu, in addition to the Coronavirus, and that they've slaughtered all their chicken and pigs, which has resulted in President Xi, surrendering the Trade War, and dropping all tariffs from against US products, and how China now needs to import food,  I'd say that egomaniac Xi would seem to have been placed squarely, back in his box.

I doubt that Russia and China are ready for all out use of WMDs.

Surely, you mint wreak?  (Have to dock points in spite of the curve there, no worries;  Bell will not be affected)

I don't keep track too closely of the geo-political stuff, where has China annexed recently?  I know they have always had their eyes on Taiwan as that is the de-facto non-Com lrgit Chinese HQ since the 40s (or so).  Hong Kong was basically a 100-year "lease" to Greater(now lesser) BritanAnglisher that ran out in the early 2000s or so ad the crown didna want to argue the point becux Commonwealth auntie-Mebbe?   Nautical.

Russia on the other hand, under the last President's AEGIS has annexed Georgie, Crimean Ukraine and Ossetiea>?  (Names chanbed to portent indioence_)

And in repose to yore second fecund paragraph;  I thought it was HIV and something other inserted itno that Crown virii?  Again, Nautical...

Mainly, I want to respond to yore "Bust a Move" vidya, which reminded me that wymyns can be disease vectors...  And was that the Flea playing bass guitar, that's red hawt!

We'll see. I mentioned it a long time ago in this very thread that I had some particularly nasty flu from the end of the Dec until the end of Jan, and it's still got some lingering after effects like a persistent cough and occasional breathing problems - so the smart money for the deathpool is on me if I get it.

ANd there I was all worried about the non-human(commie) to human(non-commie) vectorization of all this...

Tay, no woories.  Although it is early fall in your area, in mine it seems to be a very early spring(after a particularly warm winter);  the past few weeks I have been a-sneezing and a-coughing, but while mowing the yard this afternoon, I decided the sneeze was more an allergenic sneeze than a cold/flu sneeze.  I also noted that I had been randomly sneezing all winter without the whole fluish thing.

Look into Antarctic Chaga, and its various formulations;  soap, tea & eyeball injectables.  Yule bee fyne!

These Fire Fighters responded to a virus call and now the whole station is quarantined.

...and now they are screwed.  Hope other firefighters and EMTs start to do the Chinese Bunny Suit hop when they respond to calls.

Who cares about shrines? Am I still allowed to (French) kiss the Blarney stone?

Thing is alcohol is an anti-septic, sterilizer, and possible memory-eraser. So the folks kissing the Blarney Stone and possibly even the Papal ring (would not advise- who knows where it has been) are safe(r) but Islamics aren't allowed booze, so greater risks.

Concerning community borne covid, the following article contained this quote:
“I think there’s a strong possibility that there’s local transmission going in California,” said Jennifer Nuzzo, senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in an interview with The Washington Post. “In other words, the virus is spreading within California, and I think there’s a possibility other states are in the same boat. They just haven’t recognized that yet.”

https://www.theverge.com/2020/2/28/21158429/california-coronavirus-covid-19-santa-clara-unknown-source-second-case

I find this interesting because a new kungflu case was announced near me today and I’m hearing local chatter that covid has been here for several weeks already and we’ve just been calling it the flu. For sure there’s been a lot of flu in my area- local schools, my kid’s school, my kid. Just saying. I had a mild case of the fuckery myself. So I was just stonicating about, wait...  what if this shit is already everywhere and WE DON’t EVEN KNOW IT MAN!!!!!
