Quote from: albrecht on December 18, 2019, 11:37:44 AMI've noticed my old phone has problems with internet, especially wikipedia and duckduckgo, especially when using 'anonymous' browsers like Dolphin Zero etc. I get memos like "Deprecating TLSv1.0 and TLSv1.1" and such. https://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-moriarty-tls-oldversions-diediedie-00.html ("diediedie" ?!?? "Moriarty?!" https://en.wikipedia.org/sec-warning

Quote from: albrecht on December 18, 2019, 01:15:09 PMAs far as I know I am not using a VPN (it could be the so-called "privacy" browsers build something analogous into them?) But I'm not paying for a VPN or explicitly using one on the phone- just the normal connection via WiFi or carrier. Time/Date is correct. Only happens on my old phone. Which I know I should upgrade but resisting because it still works (until this internet deal) and has some features I like- removable battery, removable sd storage, removable SIM card, unupdated apps that work without ads, etc.
