As the Bard said: "what's in a name..."

"Automatic delegates: These 33 remaining delegates, formerly known as superdelegates, include 13 Democratic members of Congress and 20 Democratic National Committee members. These unpledged delegates’ votes are not determined by the ballot box, so they can vote for any of the candidates. However, the national Democratic Party decided that these delegates can no longer vote on the first ballot at the convention starting in 2020."

"Unpledged delegates, better known as superdelegates* will make up about 16% of Democratic Party delegates in 2020."

If there are 33 superdelegates, how could that constitute 16% of total delegates in 2020?  I'm confused.  And weren't there hundreds of superdelegates in 2016?

I think maybe the first article was referring to the Texas delegation? And the 2nd refers to the whole national process. Maybe? I don't know. That seems like a lot of super delegates for one State. I know they "reformed" the process after criticism of the super delegate"process but still have some in place but can't vote on the first round, or something. I don't get the whole process. Leave it to the Party of big government and bureaucracy to make a relatively simple process complicated and change the rules on seemingly a whim or when some preferred candidates don't perform.

Ha. As predicted the Bloomberg news serving his campaign. One also notes no 'pay wall' or 'subscribe' now for his news service...at least for these stories. They are clever and well-funded.

Looks like Booty Judge pulled a Hillary. ::)
Buttigieg: small town mayor but, more importantly, HS valedictorian, Rhodes Scholar, Naval Intelligence, Harvard, and McKinsey. And he is white. Very much an elite. System groomed figure and  asuccessful one. No wonder the big shots want him.  Relatively mainstream in a world of far left wackos that is the modern Democrat Party base. About the only thing he has in common with the hardcore Democrat voter these days is the homosexual deal- and even there he is relatively subdued and "married!"

Biden calls a woman "dog-faced pony soldier!"

About the only thing I like about Biden is his insults, odd musings and rambling bizarre stories, and his ethnic stereotyping.

Mayor Pete comes out and claims victory in Iowa despite no results having been released.  Meanwhile, the Bernie campaign releases internal metrics showing them winning handily with 40% of the vote counted.  As this is all happening, hashtags like #MayorCheat are trending, and I'm seeing DNC cleanup crews letting everyone know it's the Russians promoting those hashtags in order to divide the democrats.  Haha, holy hell, this election is going to be every bit as entertaining as 2016.

I hope the democrats appoint Sanders (I assume it is "appoint" and not "elect" at this point?) That has all the makings of a comedy skit as the old bitter prune loses what little is left of his mind telling America that it needs to do a complete 180 and embrace communism socialism.

I still don't like Trump- but I think watching him casually pull the strings and wipe the floor with Sanders would make for a great laugh.

Not sure if all his ads are working, he gets a boost from all the reporting on "anti-semitic" attacks, his news and information services skew reporting and polling, or the even more crazy and further-left candidates are scaring some voters but diminutive billionaire Bloomberg has gained in the polls in the DNC race according to reporting by The Hill.

the Hill, apparently, is for sale. Maybe Bloomberg could buy and use as another asset?

Yeah- the man who owns the media should be president. At least it would save the trouble that usually occurs when the state has to find a way to influence / buy the media to push their agenda. In this case, it come prepackaged with a great candidate.

The old footage of the diminutive billionaire Bloomberg advocating "throw blacks up against the wall" resurfaces again. So far I haven't noticed the MSM mentioning his old blowjob comments.  #metoo

And you got Biden telling a Democratic voters a "dog-faced pony soldier."   And you got Bernie who vacationed in the communist USSR and wrote tracts about how women fantasize about gang rape.  What is going on with the Democratic Party? Are there any normal candidates?

Yang out. One of the few Democrats with some normalcy and thoughts about of coming technological innovation, importance of hard sciences, and the problems with "Big Tech."

That was great. You could see the lady who was (I assume) asking the questions just sitting back and watching him hang himself. She wasn't going to interrupt that display. I wish they showed a close up of her face so you could see her repressing a chuckle or two as he floundered.

I’m becoming more and more convinced that Zuck is a cyborg. Look at that face. It’s not human...but approximates human. Kinda like Data.

Yup, that’s pretty much it.  Who better to take over the helm of the U.S. ship of state and lead the free world in these perilous times than a singularly unaccomplished Marxist octogenarian, a ditzy delusionary who has traded on being a socialist/feminist/ethnic minority to rise in academia and gain entry into politics or a previously unknown soft spoken ex-mayor of a smallish midwestern city whose citizens hold at best a mixed opinion of his performance in office but who enjoys the financial support of Wall Street which all three candidates loudly decry and rail against.  No doubt that any one of the three would command the respect of other world leaders, stand strong in international affairs and trade negotiations and strike fear in the hearts of the Nations enemies.

If Mayor Pete should go all the way there would be the added benefit to the Nation of his charming husband being by his side at various ceremonies and social events who would be sure to favorably impress all participants and observers on a par with Jackie Kennedy except of course in certain Muslim countries where there would be the risk of his being caned by the Mutawa.

Ha. Apparently his operation is paying for memes and tweets? He probably didn't for that one. Having said that it is the one policy of his which I agree, assuming the profiling is correct. It is absurd not to 'profile' or even stereotype in certain situations. It is just a natural, logical, quick heuristic even championed by Rev Jackson!

Jimmy is on FIRE in this one!

Two movies written and one directed by Aaron Sorkin, who makes a cameo at the table with Zuckerburg, as if he had actually been one of the players of Molly's real games.  Sorkin must really not like Zuckerburg.
